Accessed via a long, private dirt driveway, Pondview Cottage offers a truly peaceful setting, nestled on 9 private acres. Explore the pond and enjoy the on-site walking trail, perfect for a morning stroll or an evening unwind. The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 adults. It features one bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and serene views of the on-site pond (hence the name!), complete with a sliding door to welcome the outside in. The lovely living room provides additional sleeping arrangements with a convenient queen pull out sofa and overlooks a calming wooded area, allowing you to relax and unwind in nature's embrace.

A cozy and comfortable home away from home! The house is decorated so adorably. It was clean, had everything we needed, was quiet and secluded yet close to town. The bed and pullout couches were very comfortable. If we ever find ourselves staying overnight in college station again we will definitely stay here.

You're spot on about the sleeping capacity – it's something I struggled with a lot. You've perfectly captured our dilemma: the cottage is really ideal for up to 4 adults when utilizing the sleeper sofa, but I also wanted to be a welcoming space for parents traveling with kids. We know how tricky it can be to find a place that fits a group of littles. I have considered changing the sleeping cap, because we are definitely not suited for 6 adults. We truly appreciate you staying with us and are so glad you had a wonderful time at Pondview Cottage. :)

Everything was just as advertised. The host allowed us to check in a little early which was very helpful since we would have been late getting there after my daughter's volleyball tournament. It fit us just fine and there were plenty of amenities for us if we had the time to make breakfast or anything else. The host was easy to communicate with and great to deal with.

Welcome! Our journey to becoming hosts in College Station is a story we love. We moved here from out of state, so that we could attend Texas A&M (Class of '18!). While we originally came for the university, we quickly fell in love with the warmth of community and the unique blend of peaceful country living and town energy.

We chose to make our home here and build "Paddison Estates" as a way to share the tranquility and charm we've come to cherish. For over two decades, our family has been dedicated to providing rental homes for long term tenants. More recently, we've been thrilled to branch out and channel that experience into creating this special retreat for travelers. We truly enjoy crafting beautiful, comfortable spaces and love having the opportunity to provide a welcoming getaway for fellow travelers, Aggie parents, and anyone looking to experience the best of the Brazos Valley.

What we adore most about our little corner of College Station is the wonderful sense of seclusion without the isolation. Our property is a quiet, wooded, 9-acre retreat where you can hear the birds, see the stars, and feel like you're miles away from it all. It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peace of the countryside.

Yet, the best part is that all the excitement of College Station is just a short, easy drive away. We love being able to pop over to Kyle Field, visit the Texas A&M campus, or enjoy local restaurants in minutes. It truly is the best of both worlds, and we're so happy to share this peaceful-yet-convenient location with our guests.

Pondview Cottage is unique because it's more than just a rental—it's a private getaway on our family's 9-acre homestead. Guests have their own tranquil space with serene views of the pond and access to a private walking trail that winds through our wooded property.

What also makes it stand out is the friendly, community atmosphere. We, your hosts, live on the property, so while you have complete privacy in the cottage, we are nearby if you ever need anything. You may see us out for a stroll with our two gentle giant Newfoundlands, and you'll certainly hear the happy sounds of our chickens and geese, which adds to the homestead charm. It’s a unique blend of a private retreat with the warmth and security of having a helpful host right here at home.
