Nestled on a peaceful, small lake in rural Michigan, this charming house is the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

Wake up to quiet mornings by the water, spend the day kayaking, fishing, or simply lounging on the deck, and end your evening with a campfire under the stars.
The house is wam inviting-comfortable without being fancy-making it easy to relax and feel right at home.

You’ll love the balance of seclusion and convenience: enjoy the calm of the countryside with still being just a short trip from South Haven’s beaches, shops, and restaurants.
For a simple change of pace, back to nature with its adventures and critters, this lake house offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.

If you are looking for family fun vacation, couples weekend retreat or a friend’s get away always , you found it!
Lake front private beach & pier shallow end for little ones to the enter lake, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor games, fishing, kayaking, row boat, outside dining , BBQ gas and charcoal grills, beautiful wrap around porch, plenty of outdoor seating and sun loungers.

Short drive to South Haven but once on North Lake you may not want to leave unless you want to get ice cream at Sherman’s.


SPRING
Everything is blooming and awakening, watch our 4 acres of woods come alive, flowers bloom, birds are chirping, nature awakes. Go for a run or hike, enjoy thrift shopping or antiquing , experience the quite charm of the lake.

SUMMER
Enjoy your private beach, swim and, float. Enjoy fishing on a quite morning or late afternoon.Enjoy the yard, big swing, trampoline or slack line, play games or relax on the wrap around deck, go blueberry picking at the farm next door and relax with s’mores and laughter by the campfire. Relax in the hot tub after a long day of fun. End your day with a drive to Sherman’s for some delicious ice cream.

FALL

Michigan is spectacular in the fall! Colors reflect off the lake with its spectacular beauty. Spend the day at nearby orchards where you can pick apples and or hop on a hayride. It’s the perfect way to soak up rural Michigan before you come back to the Lake house and relax by the fire place inside or outside. picking, When was it the last time you jumped into a pile of leaves? Bring your friends and explore Michigans wine tasting tours or breweries,
Soak up in the Hot tub watch the stars after a fun day outdoors.

WINTER

Down hill Skiing is 30 min, cross country right out the door, enjoy ice skating on the lake, build snowmen or have snow ball fights, be a kid again Enjoy the indoor fire place after a day of winter activities.
Best ending of the day, sit under a stars in the hot tub.

Kal Haven trail is open year round and only minutes away trail runs from Kalamazoo into
South Haven.

Guest access

Checking in is a breeze ( self check in) private entrance with coded key pad

We do use the house in between renters once in a while. You will find personal items in the house and Private areas please respect these areas.

Every year we improve our property your opinion helps, please sign the guest book. We care what our guest have to say.

2024 new washer and dryer,
2024 we bought a new hot tub, added granite kitchen counter tops.
2025 In the process of building out the garage on the back of the property.

Use of Kayak, Rowboat allowed.
Bikes available.
Big yard to play all outdoor activities. Big back lot to explore.
Nice area to go on a run or biking .
Our internet has improved but can still be a bit spotty at times. It is fiber now.
You might get interrupted during one of the famous storms.

Our place is very relaxing.

Unplugging, outdoor activities .

This is a rural area. My place is well taken care of but you will experience all the sights and sounds of country life, from chirping birds to the occasional friendly critter. Expect some bugs and small wildlife- that’s part of the charm.

Our TV’ s only run through a ROKU box. If it doesn't work. Unplug and try again. Best phone provider is Verizon.

Please note: April and May are very wet months here in MI and the yard down to the Lake can get very muddy.

This house is not a perfect place but I try my Best for my renters to enjoy it.

Please treat it it with respect.

Our kids have always loved it. Now that they are adults, they like to see it to be loved and enjoyed by our guest.

Please make sure that you leave it tidy when you leave, the boat sheds included.

Please put the Chairs and live vests and toys back where you found them.

Be careful on the lake, boat rules are to go counterclockwise and no wake between 10 and 5 pm.
