About this property

The Peak: Hot tub + Mt. Views

AWD or 4WD is highly recommended!
Welcome to The Peak at Packwood Summit—a charming cabin retreat with breathtaking views, a steaming hot tub, and a fire pit perfect for reconnecting with friends and family.

Whether you’re soaking in the tub or exploring the forest trails, The Peak is your perfect base for adventure or relaxation. Just 10 min from downtown and under 30 min to Mt. Rainier (Stevens Canyon Entrance) or White Pass Ski Area. Our cabin sits atop a peaceful mountain road.
The Property:

Welcome to The Peak! Your adventure in the Washington mountains starts here.

Grab coffee in town, then head just 10 minutes up to The Peak—our freshly renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin with spectacular views, a private hot tub, and everything you need for a cozy, nature-filled getaway.
Step onto the expansive front deck, where you’ll find outdoor dining and a lounge area overlooking the forest. Inside, the stylish yet cozy living space features a wood stove—perfect for chilly nights or just a little ambiance. The renovated kitchen has brand-new appliances and is fully stocked for everything from full meals to trail snacks. Kick back and enjoy a nice meal together in the light-filled dining nook just off the kitchen!
Down the hall, you’ll find a mudroom with laundry, great for post-snow days or after a long hike, along with a full bath and a comfy first-floor bedroom. Upstairs, unwind in two queen bedrooms, a second full bath, and a cozy lounge nook with a sectional and smart TV. Step out onto the private balcony—an ideal spot for morning coffee or a good book. Outside, bring the Bluetooth speaker and enjoy lawn games, a drink by the fire pit, or a soak in the hot tub under the lights. We’ve stocked spa towels, insulated tumblers, and plenty of firewood so you can relax in comfort year-round.

- Baseboard heaters in every room
- Summer-friendly with fans and open windows
- Linens, towels, paper goods, and basic toiletries provided
- Coffee, tea, and kitchen essentials included

Please Note:
-We are on a well and septic system—only flush the provided toilet paper to avoid expensive clogs.
-The front deck has stairs; the rear entrance has fewer but can be slick in winter—please use caution.
-Our space is not childproof and does not include baby gear or toys. Children must be supervised, especially around the stove and hot tub.
-No parties allowed. Violations will result in immediate charges and loss of deposit.
-There is a security camera facing the driveway for your safety—no private areas are recorded.
-The drive up is part of the adventure! AWD or 4WD is recommended to access the cabin with ease, especially during the snowy season. Check for seasonal closures (like Stevens Canyon Gate to Mt. Rainier).
-We do not offer refunds for last-minute weather-related or road-related cancellations.

Guest access:
Use the entry code provided in your welcome message (sent to you the morning of your check-in) to access the front door lock. Enter the code into the keypad on the handle. You have access to the entire cabin and yard, with the exception of the hall closet which is locked for personal storage. To make your mountain arrival smooth and stress-free, we recommend a vehicle with AWD or 4WD.

Other things to note:
As noted in the house rules there is a camera fixed on the driveway. This is used to help our cleaning staff with check-in and check-out and monitor the property for safety, weather, and access. Wildlife are frequent visitors to our property, so please watch for deer, elk or other furry critters while driving in. We are in the mountains, so bugs like ants, ladybugs, and stinkbugs do make their way inside occasionally (especially if you have the doors or windows open for some lovely mountain air). We take extra measures to keep them out and under control, but please keep reasonable expectations. In the summer especially, bugs are to be expected outside.
Our cabin is equipped with Starlink high-speed satellite internet, offering fast and reliable Wi-Fi for streaming, video calls, and remote work—even in this secluded mountain setting. While it’s a major upgrade from typical rural internet, please note that brief interruptions can occasionally occur.
