Graceful Gables: Historic 3 BRM Home, Front Porch & Timeless Charm

Welcome to Graceful Gables!
I’m so happy to have you here! This cozy and inviting Conway home offers three bedrooms with 2 full/queen beds, a full-size sofa bed, and twin bunk beds — perfect for families or small groups looking to relax and feel at home. The bathroom includes a bidet & soaking tub for your comfort, and the spacious living room features a comfy leather sectional that’s great for movie nights or even an extra nap spot.

I do ask that guests please book for the correct number of people staying, so I can make sure everything is fully prepared and spotless for your visit. House Rules-doors and windows must remain closed while the HVAC system is operating. Opening and closing them causes temperature fluctuations and prevents the system from stabilizing, which has been an ongoing issue with the home, leading to higher costs.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Also, no indoor vaping.

The property manager lives in a separate area with two small Yorkies. They’re sweet and stay in their own space, but you may hear a little barking now and then — they just like to say hello! 🐾

Please follow the simple house rules to help keep things running smoothly:
🗑 Trash pickup: Wednesday before 8 AM (green can)
♻️ Recycling: Monday before 8 AM (blue can)
Kindly tie up trash bags and place them in the green waste can outside. No parking or driving off of driveway and no access to backyard. Can’t follow rules- be fined or canceled.

For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, there are two visible indoor cameras for arrivals — one in the laundry room facing the entry/exit door, and one on the hallway sign-in table. These are in public areas only, never in private spaces or recording.

Remove any food and bag up all trash and leave beside exterior door
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Not allowed in back yard/fence. You break it, you pay for it. Any additional clean up, you will be fined
Any signs of booze/drugs, smoking or pets, you will be fined additional cleaning fee or canceled
If you park off the driveway and tear up the yard, you’ll be fined; if you damage the driveway, you’ll be fined; ONLY park on the horseshoe driveway

The shower was a problem. There is an antique tub with a curtain around it, it is very tight and difficult to use. Someone with mobility issues would have a very hard time using the shower/bathroom. This is a very old house, creaky wood floors. The thermostat was difficult to change, almost like it had to be approved by the host. The host was very nice and helpful, and the location is very easy to get to in central Conway.

The host has everything you need. Such a cute house on the inside. I love that she is restoring a family home. Plenty of outdoor space on the front porch for all of our guests. I will definitely rent from Ana again. She is just a text away for her guests and immediately responds. Thanks again Ana!

The local school Ida Burns was named after a school teacher whom lived here and then my family owned it and we began renovating in 2017 (imagine one bathroom instead of two and the kitchen only being where the laundry room is located now along with no closet space) but we wanted to hold on to the style of the 1920’s and offer all the modernization. The host was very concerned with the lights being turned off. There was not a full size oven to use. If you wanted to adjust the thermostat you had to ask them to adjust it. So basically you could not adjust it yourself. The tub/shower was very hard to get in and out of. A person with mobility issues would not be able to use it. The house itself was nice and very comfortable.

While the home does have a full-size oven, it is temporarily not recommended for use per the gas company due to an odor concern. In the meantime, we provide a NuWave XL Pro Oven, along with a stocked guest pantry and complimentary treats, to ensure guests are still well accommodated. As a renovated historic home, some features are thoughtfully managed to help preserve the property and maintain comfort. We appreciate your stay and wish you safe and happy travels!

I grew up in Conway, Arkansas, and I absolutely love it here—it’s full of sweet people, rich history, and a strong sense of community. Though I enjoy exploring new places and experiencing different cultures, Conway will always feel like home. I’m a former teacher with a passion for dogs, connection, and being part of something bigger than myself.

Why they chose this property

This home is a special part of Conway’s history—one of our local schools, Ida Burns, was even named after a teacher who once lived here. It’s been in my family for the past 50 years, and before that, our neighbor owned it, adding to its deep community roots. I lovingly renovated it in 2017, honoring its past while bringing new life to a cherished space.

This property is truly unique, located within walking distance of one of our local colleges as well as several charming shops and stores. Built in the 1920s, it’s full of rich character and timeless charm that you just don’t find in modern homes. Its blend of history, convenience, and personality makes it a rare gem in the heart of Conway.
