Amazing spot on Silver Lake! The view of the sand dunes is priceless and the property was spotless. Enjoyed all the amenities that were provided. If you forget something it’s likely there! Lives being able to bring our dog too. The swimming was amazing and such a clean sandy bottom lake. General feedback: the water is hard! My dad’s gray hair legit turned orange after a shower. It was funny but just an FYI. We will definitely come back!!

We had a great time at the Koertside Cottage with the whole family! It was such a cozy and inviting space with everything we needed and more! The mother in law suite was a wonderful addition! Beautiful view of the water and dunes, would highly recommend!

Beautiful Location

The house was amazing, plenty of space & all the items you need for the stay from comfy beds to an extremely well stocked Kitchen! The location is very beautiful & in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely rent again, the additional suite above the garage was a huge bonus!

The house was great with plenty of room. The massage chair was a hit. There was a trampoline dock for the kids to play on. The view of the dunes was stunning. Silver Lake is so beautiful of an area, we love the dunes.

One of the BEST places we have rented. Beautiful spot, well organized place and set up. The fun extras, massage chair, water trampoline were a fun addition to our families gathering. Grateful for the opportunity.

This home was well provisioned for almost everything a gathering would want at a lake house. Towels, BBQ, fire pit, hammocks, outdoor games, indoor games, paddle boards, cooking utensils, spices, cooking oil, coffee, tea, water trampoline...The water in this area of Michigan has a lot of iron and "tastes like blood" out of the tap. This home has a water filter at the coffee station that made the water excellent for drinking. The coffee machine made k-cups or full pots.The entire property was well furnished and usable for a large group. Everyone loved the massage chair. We stayed during the summer. The AC units in the main house and mother in law suite kept both units comfortable. We had an older couple in our party that could not navigate the spiral staircase. This is not a knock against the house, but just know there is only one bedroom in the main house on floor one that doesn't require climbing the spiral staircase.Communication with the property manager was great. They responded promptly to questions.The views from the living room and front yard are amazing. Silver Lake and the dunes are practically within arms reach.The location is just under a mile from the "town center" of Mears. Close enough to walk, but far enough to keep away from the nose and bustle of town.Overall, we had a great experience.

The house was beautiful and situated with an amazing view of the lake and dunes. There is a road in the front of the house which was busy over the weekend with ORV's accessing the dunes. I felt the host was accessible and responsive. We would definitely return in the future!
