About this property
Base Camp for Alaska Adventures
Stay comfortably in Eagle River at this 4-bedroom house. With 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 4 twin beds. Guests will have plenty of space to relax. The property also offers amenities like WiFi, a fitness room, and a washing machine. Imagine the cool Alaskan breeze as you unwind in this tremendous home. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place.
This is the perfect base location for exploring Alaska. Whether you want to go north to Denali or south to the Hope, this is a great place to rest and get ready for the next day. Kids can burn the extra energy playing outside or playing in the playroom/4th bedroom, while you relax on the porch or in front of the fireplace (yes even in the summer). The location is prime for an array of restaurants and stores.
This is also a wonderful location for military families needing a few transitional days before or after a move as well as visiting families.
Please note there are chickens and ducks on this property. They are in a fenced area. Help yourself to fresh eggs!

About the host
Hosted by Ann Hutcheson

I have spent the last 15 years in Alaska after planning on only being here for a year wrapping up my doctorate. I absolutely love the outdoors, culture, and community of Alaska. As for being a host, I enjoy helping others get the opportunity to explore Alaska or spend time with family. Given we have limited hotels in the area, hosting increases military families the opportunity to spend time together in Eagle River versus trying to drive between Eagle River and Anchorage especially in the middle of the winter.
Why they chose this property
The views, quiet/peaceful, safe.
What makes this property unique
Our home is a traditional 2 story home as many homes in the area are splt level with the living space upstairs. The location makes traveling around the state convienent.
