This quintessential 1920's beach cottage has been newly furnished and decorated. With an ample living room, separate dining room and kitchen, you can enjoy this three-bedroom ocean view cottage. There are two DESIGNATED, on-site, guest-parking spaces. WIFI, cable, smart TV, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, linens, and beach chairs are provided. Great backyard for outdoor BBQ's.

We stayed the week of 4th of July and the house was very well-equipped which made our stay so easy. Friends who were also staying in York were jealous of our location. Highly recommended!

Great Cottage

Seaglass Cottage was in the perfect location - close to family and an easy walk to Long Sands, the General Store, and the Dairy Bar, which was ideal with two young children. The cottage was charmingly decorated and well-equipped. The front porch and the private deck off the bedroom provided enjoyable spaces to relax. The Welcome Basket was a wonderful and unexpected touch.

Perfect location, well maintained house

My family was very pleased with our stay. (Family Of 5 with teens). The house was perfectly located within walking distance to Long Sands, as well as a few eateries. Wonderful vacation at a wonderful cottage!

The cottage was in a perfect location for us with family around us. Beautiful views on the porches, clean and quiet. One bathroom was the only downside, but we made it work! Would definitely make this our vacation spot again and yes, the cooler with more gifts inside was an awesome cottage welcome!

We loved staying here. The attention to detail by the owners; Colleen & Gary really made the stay wonderful. The decor was beautiful and we loved having two porches. We were worried about noise (there's a restaurant nearby - Stones Throw, which is also wonderful) but it was quiet in the evenings. Joan is their property manager and the place was spotless when we arrived. We met her and so happy we did! We've been staying on Long Sands for 10 years and this was by far, the best suited, comfy, filled with amenities and we even received a gift basket with 2 bathrobes (to keep!). Thank you Colleen, Gary & Joan for a wonderful, welcoming, relaxing stay.

Nice cottage, great location!

We had a wonderful week for our stay here! When we first arrived were first welcomed by some very nice baskets of goodies that we used throughout the week. The cottage was very clean and well maintained, and we loved the view of the ocean from the upstairs balcony. Could have just sat there the whole week! The location could not have been better. A block walk to the beach, Stones Throw restaurant, the North Sands General store, and trolley stop made driving almost obsolete. Would definitely recommend!

Great Location, Great Cottage

Seaglass Cottage was the perfect fit for our family of 5. It is beautifully (but practically) decorated and had everything we needed for our week at the beach. It is an easy walk to Long Sands and lots of other attractions. Stones Throw restaurant and The General Store at the top of the road were favorites of ours! We also made use of the the trolley to go to York's Wild Kingdom and other Shorts Sands attractions. Colleen (the owner) was wonderful and easy to communicate with.

Great find at Cope Neddick

The Seaglass Cottage is extremely well equipped and supplied, from extra beach towels to a clothes washer and dryer. The cottage is very nicely decorated and very clean. The three bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious. There is a full living room and a nice eating area. Location is just a very short walk to the beach which is certainly an advantage. An open deck and covered porch add to the appeal. Coleen, the owner, is easily contacted and very helpful. We highly recommend Seaglass Cottage if you want a very nice place near the beach at Cape Neddick. Although WiFi and parking are included in the rental, the high fees HomeAway charges are not.

We just purchased this adorable beach cottage with the goal of spending more time with our grandchildren on the east coast and renting it when we are not there. We started from scratch and replaced all of the furnishings and contents. Its beautiful in York Beach Maine with so many things to do, and no need for a car. We hope you will enjoy it too!

Why they chose this property

We want to build memories with our family in New England and love this 1920's beach cottage located across the street from the beach, and so convenient to everything! There are several beaches, trolley, groceries, restaurants, and bars, all withing walking distance.

What makes this property unique

Wonderful beach location within walking distance of restaurants,
markets, general store, ice cream parlor, recreation. Just cross the street to Long Sands Beach or take the trolley to Short Sands Beach, York Harbor or the Nubble Light House. What to do? Plenty ! Light houses, museums, theater, golf, shopping, outlets, cooking school, charter fishing, whale watching, boat cruises, bike tours, nature walks, Goldenrod Taffy store, Wiggly Bridge, concerts, Wild Kingdom, geocaching, Mount Agamenticus, Lobster Eating, bike riding, kite flying, swimming, scuba diving, boating, ice cream binges, and so much more!
