This house was amazing and perfect for our large family ranging in age from 86 to two 2 year olds. The house was clean and sprawling and comfortable. Great location. Great host. There were 17 of us and because of the age differences we needed lots of space and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Everyone commented on the very comfortable beds.

Great stay and amazing kitchen!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Mountain House 3 times this year and cooking in their wonderful chef kitchen. It’s the perfect place to host retreats, large groups and enjoy the gorgeous Catskills views. The house is clean, spacious and cozy. Would highly recommend!

Great stay at the mountain house

My group and I had a wonderful stay at the mountain house. Even when there was a small issue with the water, Derrek made sure to send the plumber out ASAP to fix the issue!

Wonderful stay organized by an excellent host team!

Our stay at the Mountain House was excellent. Our check-in process and stay was above expectation. The hosts were incredibly responsive and solved a couple of small issues for us very timely. We have already discussed renting the house again in the winter to take advantage of all of the season's amenities and ski resort proximity.

Great Short Stay

We had a great stay at the house. The pond was fun and the pebbly beach/shallow walk in area made it more fun for the babies and toddlers than a regular pool would've been. Kitchen was well stocked, and lots of bedrooms and hang out areas. Derrick was a perfect host - always super responsive and helpful with any questions. Would happily stay again!

Fabulous house for families!

We had a wonderful time at the Mountain House! So much room for two families and the kids loved the games room. The large dining room was perfect for Christmas dinner. Windham is gorgeous and only a few minutes away, definitely check out the Public House if you’re there. Thanks to Derrek and family for sharing their home.

Perfect House for a Big Group

We absolutely loved our stay at this Property. We had ~20 people and did not feel crowded at all. Everyone had beds and the house was built for groups of this size! Also tucked away with minimal neighbors and a huge backyard. 10/10 will be back!

One of a kind - perfect family/group retreat!

The Mountain House is incredible! Spacious home with stunning views and noticeable pride of ownership - the tour of the home just kept going! We did the special food and wine pairing and our taste buds couldn't have been happier - this is the real deal for a special getaway and we hope to be back soon. We also loved the fire pit, hot tub, beautiful surroundings, and working with the owner - he is awesome!

Great Ski House

We did a family ski trip with ~20 family members of all ages. The place is beautiful, the layout is awesome, and the location can't be beat if you're trying to ski Windham (8 minute drive to the mountain). The décor is roosters - the kids had fun trying to count them all! Highly recommend.

The perfect house for a multi generational family

The mountain house was the perfect place for our family of 5 siblings, spouses, and 9 grandchildren to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. The house was more than spacious and gave each family enough sleeping and bathroom space. We spent a lovely day in Hudson while the men golfed, and the youngest grandkids loved the indoor hot tub!! We would definitely go back!

Derrek and Keith were so responsive and friendly, and welcomed us warmly when we asked to host a micro-wedding at their property. They answered all of our questions on a call, and Keith gave us an in-person tour of the property too in advance of our date, which really allowed us to better plan our event. It’s the most gorgeous property. The living room is spacious and great for a large gathering. The dining room has a beautiful long table, and the property had lots of plates and utensils, enough for all of our guests. The master bedroom and spacious attached bathroom were great as a bridal suite. The game room and hot tub were guest favorites, and the hot tub was set up in advance for us. We were also able to set up a bonfire in the fire pit, with plenty of wood provided, and roast s’mores at night. They also had a few foldable tables that we were able to use instead of renting. The outdoor space was amazing and well-kept, and worked great for our ceremony. The property is pet-friendly too which allowed our corgi to be there for our special day. Overall, we were able to house 16 guests comfortably, and host 29 guests for meals and ceremony. It was the perfect venue for our upstate weekend micro-wedding!
