The most beautiful home we have rented

We were very impressed with this home it was so peaceful waking up listening to the sounds of the lake. The home was very clean and we loved the big laundry room with new washer and dryer. Perfect for washing all the wet clothes of my kids after being on the boat all day. The pictures online match the home exactly and in person it exceeded our high standards. Check in was easy a code sent by email few hours before check in. Acacia was there to answer any questions before and during our stay, responding quickly. The neighborhood is beautiful its a really nice drive to the home. Overall 5 stars. Can not wait to go back. The sunset was beautiful on the balcony

Good property, but more issues than can fit in 1500 characters.First, the good. We rented the top three levels of the house. The top floor with the living area was comfortable, nice, and had incredible views. The two lower floors had comfortable bedrooms and a pool table we loved to use.Now, the issues. 1st: the lake was *much* lower than pictured, so we had NO direct access to the lake. We had to drive 20 minutes to rent a boat for 120/hour.2nd: we were not even allowed to pass through the 4th floor to access the porch. Instead, we had to exit out the back of the top floor and walk down a *very* wobbly, wooden staircase. We stuck to the top balcony. When we turned on the grill up there, the entire barbecue caught on fire and billowed out black smoke like a locomotive. We had to sit and watch it with a fire extinguisher until the built up grease burned out.3rd: 3 days before check-out, the air-conditioner on the top 2 floors stopped working. We had to send *dozens* of messages over 10 HOURS before they called a technician. It got up to 90 degrees. We had to vacate the property for the entire day. Communication was horrible, slow, and rude. Before getting any apology or information about when or whether it would be fixed, we were told our only option was to end our 7 day family vacation (for which we drove 6 hours and took vacation time) 3 days early and would receive a refund for 2 of those days. For that and more, they refused to give us any refund whatsoever.
