It was a little dated, especially the bathroom, which totally needs to be remodeled. We met the neighbor next door, the owners, next time we will stay in their unit. It’s updated and very nice. This was our first stay in Room 113. The view is spectacular. Sitting on the lanai watching the sunset is probably our favorite thing. The place was clean, had a good bed, and a good tv. It is carpeted, which is kind of unusual, but felt good on our barefeet! It could use a few updates, especially in the kitchen and bathroom, but was very comfortable. Snorkle gear being provided was nice! There is a little construction going on around the grounds, but nothing that distracted us. It is a little hard to get to the beach right now--big waves and on one side the beach is missing. I think that happens at certain times of the year. We love the smaller feel of this place versus a big resort and you just can't beat the view (you can see turtles and whales every day)! We will be back!

We watched whales every morning we were there, right from the patio while having our coffee. We loved the area, as well, because restaurants and grocery store were within walking distance. The bed was comfortable (a requirement in any good review) and the kitchen was small, but adequate. We usually stay in the Kihei area, but this trip tried something new. Would we stay here again? Yes!

We slept on the convertible sofa in the living room to the sound of the waves though it was a bit uncomfortable. The only odd thing was that we were asked to put our dishes in the dishwasher and take out our garbage. You would think that would be covered in the $100 cleaning charge!

I am happy to be living in paradise and I live on the property that I manage. When guests book any of our condos, I will be here to greet you personally. I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 2 and I adore my family! I encourage them to come see me as often as possible as they all live on the main land. What a place to come visit Grammie and Grandpa, right?

Why they chose this property

There are so many little shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condos. There are also food trucks just down the street from here across from the Times Supermarket, which is less than a mile from the condos. Guests go get their take out food and come back and eat on their lanai's and watch for turtles. Honokowai is a very nice little neighborhood between Ka'anapali and Kahana.

What makes this property unique

We are a small 42 condo complex directly ocean front. Every condo has the same amazing view. You can see Honu (sea turtles) in the surf out front every day and during the whale season, you can watch those play all day as well. We have a Pupu (appetizers, potluck style) party every Friday night at sunset. Hawaiian tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset every evening to each point on the compass. We do that every evening. It's a very friendly homey kind of place that I think you'll love.
