Great bird and nature watching out the back windows, close to the Black River for fly fishing and other water recreation, 10 minute drive to Okemo/Ludlow. You can walk to the town green and the infamous Singleton's General Store.

The house was everything we needed for a few days of skiing. Very clean. 10 minutes to Okemo. Cool supermarket a short walk away as is Murdock’s restaurant. Will stay there again if I return to the area.

Positives- clean, good location to Okemo, good parking out front. Upstairs bathroom and shower are in decent condition.Negatives- Bathroom mirror less than 8x10 tiny size and low.Master Bed needs replacement, caved/sunken.Dining room fixture 2 working bulbs, 2 not working, 1 empty.No humidifiers for winter, extremely dry.Owner doesn’t trust guests to change heat temp yourself, you must text owner anytime you want to change the heat and she does it remotely which is absurd. What if I want to change it at 3am?Very basic old decor, badly needs renovation.Shades broken with no roller stick to close close them.6 dining room chair different from each other, furniture is old and stained.Owner needs to invest in the property to bring it up to a reasonable standard for guests. No work has been done to make it VRBO ready from what we saw, Until then, the value isn’t there.

Thanks for your feedback. As you can see some rooms are redone- we are working room by room to update the home. I believe the pictures show you an accurate description of the spaces. The refrigerator and washer are brand new, living room area painted, basement finished, etc. As for the heat, the house was purchased that way, it is a safety feature and also a requirement of my insurance policy to prevent guests from turning off the heat and causing a freeze up unfortunately. I will look into the master bed and dining room light fixture.
