We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this waterfront home! The pool being right on the water was a treat. The home is comfortable and the kitchen is large and well equipped. It’s on a private road and was tranquil with beautiful water views from many rooms. It’s also a block to Walgreens and Publix. Highly recommend!

Great location, we loved the outdoors of the property. Catching fish in the canal and swimming in the pool was great.

During our stay heavy rain revealed numerous leaks on the Eastern side of the of the house that faces the intracoastal area. Drywall had been cutout to investigate previous leaks. We discovered this only because we heard water coming in at these places. Most of the eastern part of the house had either visible water coming in or wet carpets in the upstairs bedrooms. After noticing the water coming in it drew our attention to warped floor boards, areas that resembled mold (we could not verify this though because it would have to be tested) and other signs of previous water damage. Host acknowledged later in our stay that the property had water issues that had been addressed. Because of the amount of water that was coming in and definite previous water damage, we didn't know if there might be mold hiding under carpets and flooring. Because of this we cut our vacation short. Make sure to look at all the pictures closely before making your decision. There was also a giant barn fan in the foyer along with a large dehumidifier which should have clued us in. Host actually told VRBO that we had opened the doors and left them open which caused the water to come in. There welcome book says specifically not to open any of the doors on the east side of the house. There were also labels on the doors to not open them so we didn't try to open any of them. Weird though to not want you to open the doors that leaked. Should have clued into this....

Hi Paul, I’m sorry about your perceived experience while staying at our home. However, as you well know, your many complaints were found by myself, VRBO and the health and safety department that you contacted to be unwarranted. You stayed 5 out of your 7 days and then tried to extort money out of me by asking for reimbursement for your entire stay, money for a hotel for 3 nights (even though you claimed you also had to move your flight) and money for your grocery bills. Again, I’m sorry your experience wasn’t what you were expecting and I wish you the best with your future stays.
