While our cabins are located on our property, we do our best to give guests plenty of space and include photos of the property layout in our listing to help set expectations. We make every effort to respect our guests’ privacy while still being available if needed. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, relaxing stay at our private, owner-operated resort. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the bees. Being in the Black Hills, some outdoor elements are unfortunately beyond our control, but we do our best to address concerns and take preventative measures to help keep our guests comfortable. We do want to mention that we ask guests to communicate any changes or important details before arrival. In this case, we were not notified ahead of time that your dog would be over 50 lbs or that your son would be joining the stay. We always try to accommodate our guests, but having accurate information beforehand is important so we can properly prepare and ensure we are following our safety guidelines and insurance requirements. These policies are in place to help protect our guests, their families, and our property. We also want to clarify that during your stay, you asked about options for extending your reservation and what discount may be available. We were happy to offer you a 40% discount if you chose to add an additional night to your stay. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us.
