Really nice cabin, I know it said everything was included, but I was very surprised that everything was included, from toothpaste and toothbrushs, to fresh eggs for breakfast! Definitely would stay again.

This is a great little cabin. My wife and I and my dog stayed 3 nights and couldn’t be happier. It was quiet and secluded but close enough to everything. Recommend!

Everything was pretty nice unfortunately I didn’t know these cabins were right on the owners property wasn’t a bad deal didn’t see them much just kinda took the privacy away I felt like being the owners house was 50 yards from cabin. Bees were horrible in the day but they did the best they could to prevent that I understand something’s are out of peoples control. All in all I gave it 3 stars bc for the price point and location of cabin.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay overall. We understand that everyone has different preferences when it comes to privacy. While our cabins are located on our property, we do our best to give guests plenty of space and include photos of the property layout in our listing to help set expectations.
We make every effort to respect our guests’ privacy while still being available if needed. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, relaxing stay at our private, owner-operated resort.
We also appreciate your understanding regarding the bees. Being in the Black Hills, some outdoor elements are unfortunately beyond our control, but we do our best to address concerns and take preventative measures to help keep our guests comfortable.
We do want to mention that we ask guests to communicate any changes or important details before arrival. In this case, we were not notified ahead of time that your dog would be over 50 lbs or that your son would be joining the stay. We always try to accommodate our guests, but having accurate information beforehand is important so we can properly prepare and ensure we are following our safety guidelines and insurance requirements. These policies are in place to help protect our guests, their families, and our property.
We also want to clarify that during your stay, you asked about options for extending your reservation and what discount may be available. We were happy to offer you a 40% discount if you chose to add an additional night to your stay.
Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your future travels.
Best cabin that I Ever stayed in!! Full coffee bar, the host gave us farm fresh eggs, bad storm was coming and they offered and let us park our Harleys under cover at their personal property. Absolutely Amazing Host!! The cabin itself is Very Beautiful and Updated! Everything works as it should. Beds are Better Than mine at home! Very clean and cozy! Hot tub works Great!! Overall Exceptional Cabin at an Amazing Affordable Price!!! Very Biker Friendly as Well!! Best hidden gem in the area!!!

Wow...thank you so much for this incredible review! Reading your comments absolutely made our day. We're truly honored that you consider our cabin the best you've ever stayed in—it means more to us than you know.
It was such a pleasure getting to know you both during your stay. Guests like you are why we love what we do. We're so happy you enjoyed the coffee bar, fresh farm eggs, cozy cabin, comfortable beds, hot tub, and all the little touches we try to provide. We were also glad we could offer a covered place for your Harleys before the storm rolled in. Going the extra mile for our guests is something we genuinely enjoy.
As a family-owned resort, reviews like yours mean the world to us. Thank you for choosing Painted Buffalo Resorts. We truly hope our paths cross again the next time you're riding through the beautiful Black Hills.
Ride safe, and we'll see you again!
We had a great stay at the cabin! Peaceful, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway! Everything was clean, well-stocked, and the scenery was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again!
It was a very cozy and clean cabin, in a central area to all our adventures! It was so nice to come “home” to a stove to cook on and a hot tub to relax in!
Zero complaints. Had everything we needed and it was the perfect location for us with our friends just down the road and close to great riding trails. Communication was great, the host even stopped by to make sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again
We had a great stay at Cabin Bella. The communication with owner was easy. The space is not big but the generous deck, hot tube and beautiful semi remote location makes up for that. We also really appreciated the provided Custer State Park Pass.
We had so much fun! The cabin was cozy, but it was perfect for what we needed. Myria had it full of the necessities and was close by if we needed anything. I would highly recommend!!
Wonderful property! The house was thoughtfully stocked with all the essential kitchen items and toiletries. There are two tiny homes onsite, along with a few RV spots, all located near the owners’ residence. While the campsite isn’t the most private, it’s set in a stunning area that makes for a beautiful stay!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the house and found it well-stocked for your stay. We agree—this area is truly special, and we’re glad you were able to enjoy the scenery. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
We loved this property! It was perfectly situated for visiting Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and Wind Cave. Stocked with everything we needed (besides an oven, but we made it work!) plus the bonus hot tub on the porch. We were so glad we stopped here 3 nights. Didn’t feel particularly private in the outdoor areas, but pleasant nonetheless.
Very clean, comfortable. Had everything needed to be at home. Myria kind, gentle, helpful and thoughtful. Very quiet rural setting with deer and wild turkeys in the area. Scenic drive to area activities.
The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. Loved they had card games, toys for kids, your basic needs like body wash, shampoo/conditioner, pots/pans, dishes, kitchen utensils, q-tips, toothbrush/toothpaste, towels, coffee, and the like. For our stay, the location of the cabin was perfect as it was in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go... i.e. Devils Tower, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, The Mammoth Site, Full Throttle Saloon, and Deadwood.
Such an adorable little place. It fit me and my husband on the main floor, and our adult daughter in the loft. They have really made great use of a small space - all the amenities you need in a very compact environment. We really enjoyed the deck and spent a good part of our time there. There’s not a ton nearby as far as restaurants etc but we brought food in and cooked on the outdoor grill and it was perfect.
