Relax, unwind, and soak in the ocean breeze at Coastal Calm, a beautifully appointed oceanfront one-bedroom luxury suite located in the sought-after Bridgewater building at Litchfield By the Sea Resort. Perfect for beach lovers, couples, families, or a cozy getaway any time of year. This space has been totally renovated as of February 2026.

The Space
This first-floor condo (above the parking garage) is approximately 550 sq ft and offers effortless access via elevator or stairs. The unit is fully furnished, thoughtfully stocked, and designed for comfort and convenience.

We love this location. We’ve stayed at Bridgewater before and will definitely be returning to Kristin’s unit. Towels, bed linens and beach towels were brand new and perfect. Everything that you needed for a wonderful stay was included. Kristin even arranged for a week of beautiful weather!

The property was very clean, great location and view, furniture was comfortable. The host was very nice and responsive. Having said that, we had no idea that the property did not have central AC (wall units in the bedroom and living space), plus no dishwasher or garbage disposal. There were no items we could use to wash and dry our dishes except for paper towels; no sponge, pot scrubber, or dish towels. We went out and got dish towels. The kitchen is a narrow hallway between the bedroom and the living area, making it difficult for two people to be in there at one time. One walks into the bedroom directly off of an outdoor, open walkway overlooking the parking lot. We never opened our blinds. We were expecting a more up to date vacation rental at the price we paid in the off season.

I do want to note that the listing photos and description show the wall A/C units and mention that there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal, but I completely understand how those details can be missed when booking. I also appreciate your note about the dishwashing supplies — I will add additional sponges and dish towels to make future stays more convenient. As I mentioned during our correspondence, we’re planning some updates to the property during the off-season to make the space even more enjoyable. I also offered a discounted rate for a future stay, and I’d be happy to extend that again should you decide to return. Thank you again for your thoughtful review and for staying with us.

Listing stated two queen beds. Room actually had two double beds. When I messaged owner she ignored the error and refused to offer any compensation. She has now corrected the listing to show two double beds. This is false advertising and illegal.
