In 2023, we gave the house a major upgrade, adding a spacious 10-foot front deck — the ideal spot to sip coffee at sunrise or relax after a sunny beach day. The home now features vinyl siding, updated furniture, and a beautifully refreshed interior.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, this cozy retreat is just 15 minutes from historic Plymouth Rock and a short drive to Cape Cod — without the hassle of Cape congestion. Whether you’re planning to dine at local favorites, stroll the Cape Cod Canal, visit museums, or simply spend your days on the sand, this home offers the best of everything.

We had a great trip as our first family vacation with our newborn twins! The beach was super close by (two entrances: one without all the stairs in case you’re nervous like we were) and the house itself was super clean and cozy! Lauren was an excellent host! Just what we needed :)

The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Beach chairs, cooler, towels, linens all were available and provided. Allowing our fur-baby was a must and we appreciated that. The walk to the beach was just up the hill and the beach was quiet and beautiful. The cottages in this area are exactly what you would expect, updated but loved enough to feel right at home. Communication was great and Lauren even arranged with the neighbor to allow us to park in their drive for the afternoon. Hopefully we will be able to come back next year.

Great Little Cottage

We had a great time at the cottage and was just what we were looking for. We (4 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog) were in town to see family and it was a perfect location. The beach was fantastic and a short walk from the house. The amenities were great (washer and dryer, specifically) and helped make the trip a great vacation. We'll be back when needed and would recommend for anyone looking to stay at a straightforward beach cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our beach getaway. The house was clean upon arrival and well-appointed with all the stuff we needed. My 6 year old daughter couldn't get enough of the beach! We had a short but fantastic getaway. Lauren was a great host and we appreciated the warm welcome. Note to others: there is a long staircase to access the beach and would be a problem for guests with mobility issues.

Great Cottage, Great Beach Experience

Exactly as advertised, you walk in to a cool, welcoming, and spotless home. This is our first time renting this home, so we brought a lot of our own things that we never needed. The house is full of nice touches, including a wonderful welcome basket. We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here, the owners are wonderful. Great stay, would do it again.

Cozy, comfortable and quiet. Couple of minutes walk to the beach. We loved it!

The house was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Spacious family room was nice and the huge bath tub with TV was an added bonus. Large front and rear decks plus the outdoor shower was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach and the fenced in yard kept our pup safe. The walk to the beach is 2-3 minutes and the stairs leading down allows for beautiful coastal views. My family of five enjoyed our week and we will be back. Lauren was a great and very attentive host. Highly recommend!

First family vacation in Massachusetts

The pictures were remarkably accurate and represented the property very well. We recognized it immediately from the red and blue chairs and yellow door! The inside was small but very nicely laid out and did not feel cramped. The two bedrooms as you come into the house where as expected and very comfortable. My younger one loved the beach bungalow! It was the perfect size for him. The family room was quite sizeable and very comfortable. The kitchen was petite but it had everything we needed.
