Super clean, great host, great house! This was my best experience yet in this area of the state. We normally come twice per year and will try to book this from now on.
Perfect gathering spot for 70 yo highschool girlfriends. We had everything we needed and it was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Great river views and sunsets from the accommodating front porch. Appreciated the recommendation of the nearby Thirsty Turtle for a great lunch and cocktail.
The house was great and fit my family very well. Nancy is very responsive and you can tell the house is well maintained and has thoughtful touches-like coffee, extra paper towels, etc.. the things that are missing when a property is managed by a company. The view of the river is beautiful!
This was my second time staying at this property. Both times have had a wonderful experience. The host is very gracious and accessible. I would recommend this property and experience to anyone interested. It is well maintained and has such a great view of the Mississippi river. Everything we needed in the house and Well organized and clean.
What a great place! A million dollar view. House was immaculate clean. Porch sitting was the best. There was even firewood cut and ready for a sunset fire. Everyone should get to stay here. Host provided everything needed and was quick to communicate. Excellent ‼
Home away from home. Nancy, the host, makes you feel welcome from the very start and has many thoughtful inclusions. We love staying here and have made so many fantastic memories.
We came to stay at this property while Fishing, the Mississippi river. It exceeded our expectations was clean ,had a great view , property owner was accessible. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary items for cooking. Book it for your next vacation. I do not think you’ll be disappointed. I would recommend this place and return if I get the opportunity.
Very clean house! All one level which was perfect for our group. I wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor seating and view of the river! Kitchen was well stocked and had more than we needed to make a couple breakfasts and a dinner. Quite a few options for your Kuerig / coffee needs. Comfortable seating and extra blankets in the bedrooms if needed. Very quiet at night. The host was quick with dinner suggestions or confirming what the house had to offer.
