About this property
Airy, Convenient, Art Infused Mid City 1bd Apt
Welcome to this charming house in New Orleans. This 1 bedroom unit with a comfortable queen bed is perfect for a tranquil night's sleep. The fully stocked bathroom comes equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience.
Kitchen and Bath have tiled floors and counters while the rest of the spacious apartment has lovely Brazilian Cherry floors. Professional photography (my own) grace the walls.
The porch swing is a great space to have your morning coffee and a lovely way to enjoy the early evening before you go out on the town.
And for those in need of ridiculously fast internet speeds, we have 1G up and down fiber in the house.
We live in the owners unit. We strive to help our guests 'pass a good time' while they are staying with us. However, this is not a party house, we're looking for quiet guests who will enjoy our home and neighborhood and enjoy what the city has to offer. We feel our 4.99 star rating over the last 7 years as a Superhost on another platform is a testament to the quality of our space and the satisfaction of those whom choose to stay with us. We hope to see you soon.

About the host
Hosted by Scott Saltzman

I was California born and bred, my wife from down under ( Australia).
We enjoy socializing with friends and guests, traveling and exploring new land and city scapes, relaxing with a good book and putting energy into making our community a better place to thrive in.
In and amongst all that, I have been a professional photographer for more than 35 years and my wife is a legal analyst.
Hosting regularly brings us in contact with new and interesting people with new and interesting ways of looking at the world.

Why they chose this property
We have owned this house for almost 30 years and have really enjoyed watching and helping to reshape its character. It is a very friendly area and so exceptionally convenient to anything you need and not far from things that are not around the corner. We are not called MIDCITY for nothin'!
What makes this property unique
a quiet oasis in the middle of a vibrant city. We are a 10-15 min trolley ride ( 3 min walk to get to it) down the the center of all the hubbub downtown while being far enough away from all of it to enjoy a nice glass of _____ ( fill in the blank) on the quiet porch swing at the end of the day.
We are told the bed is quite comfortable, the hot water plentiful and being surrounded by all the lovely music imagery on the walls ain't to shabby either!
