The Nest · Sun-Drenched Loft · Private · Walk to Everything
Welcome to The Nest — a sun-filled, design-forward loft retreat in the heart of Los Alamos wine country. Named for the little birds who've made their home in the sprawling ficus tree that anchors the living room, this is a space that feels genuinely alive.
Climb the spiral staircase to your sleeping loft, where a cozy cupola overhead and treetop & mountain views await. Below, a fully stocked custom kitchen, a light-filled bathroom tiled in hand-cast cement from a female-run Mexican design studio, and your own private outdoor sanctuary. A private sun-dappled patio with a bubbling water fountain and fragrant herb garden make this feel like a home, not a hotel.
Stream your favorites on the Smart TV, cook with fresh herbs steps from your door, or simply sit outside with a glass of local wine and let Los Alamos do its thing.
Modern eco-chic design, brand new finishes, and thoughtful details throughout. Just two blocks from Bell Street's world-class restaurants, wineries, and boutiques.

Hosted by Jen Boulden
Hi, I'm Jen. Regenerative designer, mother of two, and keeper of many rescue animals at @AnavoFarm, where we've lived for the past 13 years. Superhost for over a decade. The Nest sits beside Queenie — a lovingly restored 1895 Queen Anne Victorian in the heart of Los Alamos. Small, intentional, and sustainably chic. Why they chose this property
Los Alamos is the last honest town on the Central Coast — a former stagecoach stop that somehow held onto its soul. Centrally located on Bell Street, you can walk to nationally acclaimed restaurants, incredible wine tasting rooms, antique shops, the 1880 Union Saloon, and The Depot Bar without moving your car once. A town of respectable renegades, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
What makes this property unique
The Nest is a thoughtfully designed ADU tucked beside Queenie, an 1895 Queen Anne Victorian restored as living art. Small, intentional, nothing wasted — designed for the guest who wants to actually be somewhere, not just pass through. You get the character of a historic property with the privacy of your own space. Los Alamos on foot, everything you need, nothing you don't.
