Welcome to Sea La Vie, your waterfront gateway to New Orleans. Located in the desirable Eden Isle community of Slidell, this spacious home offers the perfect combination of peaceful waterfront living and convenient access to one of America's most exciting destinations. Whether you're visiting for a family vacation, festival, sporting event, fishing trip, reunion, or weekend getaway, Sea La Vie provides a unique experience that allows you to enjoy the excitement of New Orleans while returning each evening to your own private waterfront retreat.
One of the greatest advantages of Sea La Vie is its location. Situated approximately 25 minutes from the French Quarter and many of New Orleans' most famous attractions, the property gives guests easy access to world-renowned restaurants, live music venues, historic neighborhoods, festivals, museums, sporting events, and nightlife. After spending the day exploring Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, Frenchmen Street, the Garden District, or the National WWII Museum, you can return to a peaceful waterfront setting far removed from the crowds and congestion of the city.
Unlike many accommodations in New Orleans, Sea La Vie offers the space, privacy, and comfort of an entire waterfront home. Large families, groups of friends, and multi-generational travelers can spread out and relax while enjoying amenities and outdoor spaces that are difficult to find in the city itself.
The home sits directly on the water in Eden Isle, one of the Northshore's most popular waterfront communities. Guests can enjoy beautiful canal views, coastal breezes, and direct access to the boating and fishing opportunities that make this area so special. The property's private 100-foot dock is a favorite feature among guests and provides the perfect place to relax, fish, watch boats pass by, or enjoy spectacular Louisiana sunsets.
Bring your boat and explore the surrounding waterways and Lake Pontchartrain. The dock provides convenient access for boaters, while anglers can enjoy fishing directly from the property. Whether you're an experienced fisherman or simply want to spend a relaxing afternoon by the water, Sea La Vie offers an authentic Louisiana waterfront experience.
The spacious outdoor areas are designed for gathering with family and friends. Start your morning with coffee overlooking the water, spend the afternoon fishing or boating, and end the day enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the waterfront as the sun sets over the canal. Many guests discover that some of their favorite vacation memories are made right at the property.
Inside, Sea La Vie offers comfortable accommodations designed to make guests feel at home. The open living areas provide plenty of room to gather, relax, watch television, or simply enjoy each other's company. Large windows allow natural light to fill the home while showcasing the surrounding waterfront scenery.
The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. Whether you're cooking breakfast before heading into New Orleans, preparing fresh local seafood, or gathering around the dining table for a family meal, you'll find the space both functional and inviting.
The home's comfortable bedrooms provide a peaceful place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing, boating, fishing, or festival activities. Families and groups appreciate the generous layout and ample room for everyone to enjoy both shared and private spaces.

Guests can explore Slidell's charming Olde Towne district, enjoy local seafood restaurants, browse antique shops and boutiques, or take a scenic drive through the surrounding communities of Mandeville, Covington, and Abita Springs.
Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the area's abundant recreational opportunities. Fishing, boating, kayaking, wildlife viewing, birdwatching, and nature tours are all available nearby. The property's location allows guests to easily balance sightseeing and entertainment with relaxation and downtime.
Unlike crowded hotels or small city accommodations, Sea La Vie provides a more spacious and private experience. Guests enjoy the freedom of an entire home, convenient parking, waterfront access, and room to gather together while still being close enough to enjoy everything New Orleans has to offer.

Many guests tell us that what makes Sea La Vie truly special is the opportunity to experience two very different sides of Louisiana during the same trip. Spend the day immersed in the energy, culture, music, and excitement of New Orleans, then return to a peaceful waterfront retreat where you can unwind, watch the sunset, and enjoy the slower pace of coastal living.
We invite you to experience the best of both worlds at Sea La Vie and create memories that will last long after your vacation has ended.

We were in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with family! The property was clean and had all essentials needed for a very comfortable stay! The hostess, Lisa, was amazing and was quick to respond to questions. We will definitely stay here again!

So glad that you enjoyed your stay. Come back anytime
Great experience at this location. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful setting off the back porch. Great furnishings throughout the property. Beds and bedding were comfortable, and ample pillows! We would pick this again.
Everything was great except that the jacuzzi tub has some issues that made it unable to be used which was disappointing since it was one of the reasons we chose the house.

Kellie,
I am so sorry you weren’t able to use the jacuzzi tub. We have since fixed the issue. We hope you will come back and soak to your hearts content. :)
Overall it was a great location but the house does need upgrades. There were no rags or mop to clean up spills, no chairs in the room to sit down in, most of the pots and pans were burnt as well as the grill was super dirty and the spa tub is still not working.
We had a great time here! Lovely location and easy to get out to NOLA and surrounding areas. We loved that it is on the water. Our kids had a fun time fishing on the dock. House was clean, neat and organized. Loved all the bedrooms and space we had. We were a family of 8 so we did run into needing more TP and a dustpan for sweeping up messes would have been nice too. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had. Very much appreciated the quick and helpful communication. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the NOLA area.
We adored this property! Was clean, spacious and well stocked with towels and cookware. You can fish off the dock and lounge on the deck. 2 stars for the neighborhood as it is crawling with suspicious neighbors that are fighting to keep rentals out. Thumbs up to the owner who didn't just brush it off when we informed her that a photo of my family was not only taken by one of the neighbors but was also posted on the social media platform called NEXTDOOR where neighbors miscontrused the photo and made false claims and comments about our family. Beware because you too might end up with your photo taken, posted, and misconstrued on a social media site by one of the neighbors as well.

I'm happy yall enjoyed yourselves despite the behavior of some neighbors. We are doing what we can. Thanks, Lisa
it was a much, much better alternative than staying at a local hotel. We would have rated a 5 except for some small details (e.g. no salt/pepper, no tea kettle, no oven mitts, no tissues, no bar soap, no pizza pan, no spare batteries for the tv remote). We arrived and immediately made a trip to the grocery store to get these things. There was no full length mirror and the shower door would not stay closed. A door code instead of a key would have been nice. These small yet fixable details matter. It was fun to watch the fish jumping. The interior space was super. The house was clean and bright. It worked out great for our family!
Our overall stay was awesome the home that we rented was beautiful inside and out. There was one issue that was brought to the attention of the leasing contact that’s being addressed. I would lease this property again.
street lights come in the 3rd floor windows and shine around the room making it hard to sleep! some kind of coverings would be good! also, the upstairs room is not meant for anyone tall…it might be good to mention this ahead of time. I had to watch out that my head didn’t hit the ceiling and I’m only 5’5”!
We absolutely loved this home, very spacious and lots of natural light! We were also able to fish right from the dock in the backyard. Property is as described, and close to everything. Very quiet neighborhood. We would love to come again !!
From the moment we walked in we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. The cleaners had just left and there is nothing better than a fresh smelling home! I have allergies and you wouldn't have known by how clean it was. The moment you walk in you see the beautiful sights of the canal. Its simply gorgeous especially walking up in the morning and seeing it from your very spacious master bedroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay. There were 5 of us and we had more than plenty of space. Hope to be back!
