Smoky Mountain "Lake View" (Lakefront)
This 5,000 square foot home is directly on the MAIN CHANNEL of Douglas Lake and has a new covered dock with boat parking & swim ladder. Views are incredible from the home & 2 story dock.
35 Minutes to Dollywood or Gatlinburg (Smoky Mountains). Stay outside the traffic congestion yet close enough to enjoy the activities.
The space
There are SO MANY amazing things about this home, I will just list a few.
LAKEFRONT
The back of this house overlooks the MAIN CHANNEL of Douglas Lake. One of the best views on the lake.
SWIMMING & BOATING
Walk down the stairs to the new aluminum covered dock with 2nd story sun deck. This huge sun deck is great for sun seekers and also a beautiful place to sit in the evening. Additionally, the upper deck provides a roof for your boat parked below and plenty of shade for those who seek it.
Attached to the dock is a jet-ski port with rollers that will keep your ski out of the water when not in use! You simply drive up on it.
The dock also features 4 (COMPLIMENTARY) kayaks for your use (on racks) and a swim ladder for those who choose to jump in!
The outdoor box on the lower back porch contains (COMPLIMENTARY) lawn chairs, life jackets, paddles & swim noodles for your use. There are even fishing poles and tackle for you to use.
MOVIE THEATER
Featuring: 9 fully reclinable Italian leather seats, 3 huge bean bags (in front) for the kids, a huge screen, 8 wall mounted speakers, surround sound, 2 subwoofers (for deep base), carpeted walls and soundproof insulation.
Stream your favorite shows or movies using your favorite apps!
Share photos, watch the big game, make a presentation or simply watch TV.
OUTDOOR FIREPIT
The firepit is located in the back yard overlooking the lake and has 8 surrounding chairs. The pit is naturally shaded by tall trees.
You will find 20 sticks of (COMPLIMENTARY) firewood in the box next to the firepit to get you started.
In the house, by the indoor fireplace you will find a bucket that contains (COMPLIMENTARY) roasting sticks and a few other campfire items for your use.
HAMMOCK ISLAND
Adjacent to the firepit and overlooking the lake you will find 4 hammocks strung up for your use. While swinging and lounging you can watch the nightly bonfire & stars or simply enjoy the shade.
OUTDOOR DINING
Enjoy the seating for 12 overlooking the lake and mountains from the second story deck. After dinner zero gravity loungers or on the sun deck overlooking the lake.
GRILLING AREA
The grilling area is located on the back deck overlooking the lake (outside the kitchen).
(COMPLIMENTARY) propane is provided for the Weber gas grill (large grilling surface). There is a 5' stainless prep/serving table next to the grill.
There are plenty of couches/chairs, a rolling cooler and several high-top picnic tables there for your use as well.
HOT TUB
At the back of the house is the 6-person hot tub. This tub overlooks the lake & often beautiful sunsets. There are stairs to enter/exit.
GAMEROOM/BAR
A pool table, shuffleboard, electronic dart board, multi-cade video game, roller ball video golf, large screen smart TV, couches, fireplace, assorted board games, stereo & newly added KARAOKE MACHINE await!
Enjoy a fire in the large fireplace or mix a drink in the downstairs bar.
Play some cards and enjoy the lake views from the 2 sliding patio doors.

The coffee bar features a coffee machine that brews individual pods or by the carafe. A coffee grinder & plenty of ceramic cups as well as to-go cups (with lids) are also there for your use.

IMPORTANT: (MUST READ)
Kayaks are seasonal & are provided ONLY WHEN THE LAKE IS BOATABLE. Experience seems to indicate that there is usually boatable water to the dock from around the middle of April until mid to mid-September.
Note: Douglas Lake is a TVA impoundment of the French Broad River, and TVA lowers the water level during the fall and winter months. No guarantees can, or will, be given as to available water levels. Historical water level charts are available online. Experience seems to indicate that there is usually boatable water to the dock from around the middle of April until mid to mid-September.
