We love hosting our cottage on VRBO because it gives us the chance to share a truly special place with others. Caribou Pond is a hidden gem — peaceful, scenic, and a perfect escape from the busy world — and it's a joy to help others experience its beauty. Hosting on VRBO enables us to connect with travelers seeking a quiet getaway, a family retreat, or simply a chance to unplug and recharge in nature.
We take pride in keeping the cottage clean, cozy, and well-equipped so guests can relax and feel right at home. And when they tell us how much they loved the loons at night, paddling on the pond, or watching the sunset from the porch, it reminds us why we chose to share this place in the first place. VRBO makes it easy to reach people who truly appreciate what our cottage — and Caribou Pond — have to offer.

Why they chose this property
What we love most about Caribou Pond in Lincoln, Maine, is its peaceful beauty and sense of seclusion. Nestled among tall pines and bordered by natural wildlife, the pond offers the perfect place to unwind. Whether we’re canoeing across the calm waters, fishing in the early morning stillness, or simply sitting on the shore listening to loons call, there’s a quiet magic here that’s hard to find anywhere else. The sunsets over the water are breathtaking, and the reflection of the trees creates a picture-perfect scene. Caribou Pond isn’t just a place — it’s a feeling of home, of connection, and of being close to nature.
What makes this property unique
What makes our cottage on Caribou Pond truly unique is its combination of peaceful seclusion and simple comfort, all set against the backdrop of one of Maine’s most beautiful hidden ponds. Tucked away in the woods but still easily accessible, the cottage offers a rare sense of quiet and privacy — no crowds, no noise, just the gentle sounds of nature and the calm waters of the pond just feet away.
You can paddle a canoe right from the dock, listen to loons calling at dusk, or stargaze under incredibly clear skies. Inside, the cottage is cozy and welcoming, and thoughtfully set up with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Whether you’re enjoying morning coffee on the deck, fishing from the dock, or watching the sunset reflect off the water, there's something deeply grounding about being here.
It’s the kind of place where you can truly unplug, breathe deep, and feel like you’ve stepped into a slower, more peaceful world — and that’s something special.
