The room was nice and appropriate for what I needed. No frills. Quiet. Modern. Excellent location. On check-in, I was given the wrong code for the entrance, but owner called me after a few minutes and sent me correct info. There were a lot of ants in the studio. The drain in the tub was also slow, making water back up during my shower.

2 hours before our check-in and 6 hours into our drive to Chicago, the reservation was cancelled leaving us with no place to stay. Vrbo was very helpful in finding us a last minute place to stay thankfully. However, we had no communication from the host of the property, after messaging and calling multiple time.

The price and location were just what I needed. The building and neighborhood was quiet. Everything was clean upon arrival except for the LVP floor-salt footprints and outdoor debris on the floors. TV streaming/internet was very spotty and buffered alot. I had to ask the host for the WIFI and check out instructions

Absolutely adorable apartment, super clean, great location. The only issue was that the drain in the shower was backed up when we arrived. Other than that we had an amazing time.

I’ll start with the good: it’s a place to stay that is pretty close to Loyola University as well as the Loyola cta stop on the red line which made it convenient to get around. The neighborhood/area was very clean and full of college students which made it feel safe. Onto the bad: The room/building itself smelled kind of like trash, though the room was mostly clean. The towels had some random hairs on them/embedded within the fibers which was gross, there was toilet paper stuffed in the window pane in the bathroom for whatever reason, and you could tell it could use a deep cleaning. The internet connection was awful and would randomly go out which was pretty annoying as well. Communication, though, is where this property really fell flat. The host did not provide check-in instructions (or any communication at all) until I explicitly asked 1-2 hours before the scheduled check-in time. I also had an issue where the fire alarm would randomly go off for a minute or two then stop multiple times, once at 2:45am while I was sleeping and another at 10:30am when I woke up. After messaging the host about this issue, they did not respond. I also messaged the host asking for checkout instructions as they were never provided and also received no response. I can’t imagine if I would’ve had an actual emergency or more important issue as the host did not seem to care at all. Overall, I don’t think the price is really worth what you’re paying for.
