If you have a romantic getaway on your mind, this cozy and comfortable one bedroom and one bedroom condo is perfect for an idyllic beach vacation. There are sweeping panoramic views of the beach and the water, and dozens of amazing shops, restaurants, and outdoor activities within a few brief miles. A sofa and armchair are in the living area, and a flat screen television and stereo system are here for your use. Stainless steel appliances, including a flat top range and all the cookware you need to make meals are in the kitchen. Eat at the breakfast counter, where there are two stools, or set places at a glass table that has four chairs. If you love the fresh air, stroll onto the balcony and sit down at another table with four chairs, to share snacks or drinks, while you enjoy watching the blue waters of the Gulf break against the white sand beach. The master bedroom suite features a king-size bed, a flat screen television and a DVD/VCR player, as well as a sink, vanity counter, and a bathtub and shower combination in the bathroom.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time. The condo was very clean and cozy. We stayed for the 4th of July and were surprised by the front row fireworks show by the condo next to us! The splash pad is a great addition for little babies. Worked out perfect for our little family! We will definitely stay here again.

This unit is decorated well with everything you need. We loved that it had a washer and dryer and a trash chute just around the corner withen a few steps. The patio furniture was nice and we had a great view of the Gulf. We absolutely loved our stay and plan on returning.

Beautiful grounds

We enjoyed our stay but Housekeeping should step up their game. They did not wipe end tables, sand on both. Dining table decor amiss, placemats and flower arrangement were on the sideboard which wasnt very inviting. Windows were very dirty, both inside and outside. Tub, toilet and one kitchen sink very slow to drain. Reported this to front desk.

The SMELL

I can’t express enough how horribly this room SMELLED! Every time the air came on, you’re hit with this awful stench. I gagged every time. We had to wait over an hour after “check in” time before the room was available. You can hear the tiniest of footsteps from your upstairs neighbors. The dish washer is falling apart and almost came out. The chairs on the balcony are broken. Just horrible. Stay away.

Lovely and easy property with a great view!

The condo looks just like the pictures online. I wanted it for the balcony, access to the beach along with a pool and tennis courts for my daughter. So all of that was exactly what I was looking for along with a modern kitchen and beach feel. The things I would suggest/change ... for the price and after staying at other VRBOs in the past in the same price range - nicer/softer towels in the bathroom and provide beach towels as well as 'two' chairs for the beach - rather than only one. Also, since we only came for 4 days and 3 nights perhaps consider a small basket for shorter stays with things like two roles of toilet paper and paper towels along with better quality and perhaps a few staples like salt&pepper, laundry soap, shampoo & conditioner. The sofa cushions are starting to fall apart, which did not impact our stay - but just surprised us in this price level of condo rental. In general, a very nice condo and location with a great king size bed and good washer and dryer. If you are looking for a hotel like rental, this is your place - but if you want a few personal touches - you might want to try one of the other rentals that is not from a management company. Again, overall we had a lovely time and the rental is just like the picture and property has a lot of things to do.

Somewhat dated but O.K.

Everything was pretty much as advertised. It's a nice unit with everything in working order. As the title of the review suggests, the unit is rather dated with regards to cabinetry and bathroom fixtures. The shower control was especially annoying and easy to scald yourself if not very careful. The kitchen appliances were updated with stainless steel which was nice and the kitchen was fully furnished. My only complaint was that on the last night, the unit directly about me (unit 804 I believe) had become occupied by some very rambunctious people. while inside the unit, the noise consisted of the dragging of furniture across some apparently tiled floors. The fact that I had a 10:00 AM check out and had already lost an hour of sleep due to the time change did nothing to lessen the stress and anxiety I was feeling. Being uncertain of exactly where the noise was coming from, I took the elevator up to the floor above me to confirm where the noise was coming from. Outside the unit was a security guard who was apparently already aware of the disturbance. Just outside that unit, a large clear trash bag containing beer bottles and red bull cans and loud voices could be heard coming from the unit. The security guard said he would handle the situation as he picked up the bag of trash and quietly walked away. The noise continued for at least two more hours after that which left me wondering why nothing was being done. The property seems to have rather strict rules in place concerning these types of activities so it was disappointing to have my last night ruined by the rule breakers. I requested a late checkout because I didn't get much sleep but was told that decision would have to be made by the "7-11" person. Finally, after 7:00 AM, we were given one additional hour to check out. Truthfully, by that point, it didn't really matter. I was tired, irritated and ready to go. I'm the type of person who goes beyond what is required in terms of making sure a unit is clean when I leave so the cleaning staff had far less to do in getting it ready for the next occupant. If I had one major complaint regarding the furnishings, it would have to be that the sofa looked nice but was extremely uncomfortable to sit or lay on. All I remember was the constant discomfort of feeling the wooden framework beneath the cushions which also seemed to constantly move out of place. Overall, the unit was ok and I would describe my stay at Phoenix East to be average.

Very nice condo for two

My husband and I enjoyed the location and views of the condo. It's not large, but a perfect size for two . .It was very clean and nicely furnished. The only two issues we had were 1) it wasn't exactly clear how to access the wifi. I finally took my phone to the front desk and he told me what to do and 2) This may sound trivial, but it was difficult to figure out the shower faucet. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

Nice condo with casual style

Overall, the amenities and location is good. The bathroom is fine. The kitchen has plenty of knives, boards, etc. for cooking at the condo. The oven and electric range is decent. Refrigerator is good size and ice maker works well. Bedroom is good. The bed is firm and plenty of pillows. Living room is comfortable. The couch and chairs sit well. Here's my problems: The bathroom needs more lighting. The shower head is too low. (I'm 6 foot) The faucet could use an update as well. The outlet closest to the balcony on the living room wall is not working. The biggest complaint was the chairs on the balcony. They need to be replaced. Me and my visiting family nearly fell backwards out of them. Some rusted out. Most of these complaints are minor but the chairs aren't when someone could get hurt. I recommend this place to singles and small families. Plenty of places around to visit.

The condo was clean. (always my first concern). The kitchen was well stocked. The washer and dryer were large, not the smaller stacked versions. The view from the balcony was great. We were able to watch the boats come and go out of the jetty. The front desk personnel were so friendly and helpful. I liked that I could check in on site instead of traveling to get the key. There were chairs/umbrella rentals in front of the condo. We would definitely stay in this condo again. FYI ... try the ice cream a couple blocks down the street at "Sweet Cone Alabama". so good!!

Everything was as expected. Property was beautifully kept up as well as very clean with up to date amenities. It was available to us when we arrived about 1:00 so we didn't have to wait until 3 as we expected. Great views of Gulf and jetty into the bay from the balcony. We caught the sunrise each morning which was spectacular. It was a really fun trip. There were only 2 of us so 800 sq +/- was more than enough room since all spaces in the condo were very economically set up. The condo furniture seemed new and was prettier than this picture indicates.

Clean and comfortable

Well, this is my 2nd visit to this condo and I will have to say it has been wonderful. My girlfriend and I visited back in January and this past month we took my kids with us. It was a great time both times. You can enjoy this property whether you are taking time for you and your partner or you want to take the family. The views from the room are spectacular and the room itself was ever so comfortable. I hope to visit again soon and I hope that you book today. You will not be dissappointed!

Oh so comfortable

This is my 3rd time to stay in this condo and it certainly will not be my last. This Phoenix condo is so comfortable and convenient to all the places I wanted to visit while I was on vacation in Orange Beach. From the superior front desk staff to the wonderful view and sounds of the ocean on the condo's balcony, this place has it all. If you want a kid friendly or a romantic get a way for two, this is the place to go. Kid friendly with the shallow end pool outside and a pool inside, but yet it allows adults to have their fun as well with grills out by the pool makes it fun to grill at night and enjoy the sounds of the beach. While we were here we took in a great bay side dolphin cruise and had a feast at Hazel's buffet. Fun, food, and great memories. You will love your stay here, I promise.
