It was amazing we had a great time we also painted rocks and left them on property in the front hoping to be able to visit again on our next family trip thank you for an amazing stay !!!!
Our multi-generational “camp-cation” at Evergreen Hideaway- an original 1700s barn faithfully converted into a cozy residence, complete with a thoughtful 1990s addition—was nothing short of magical!!From the moment we arrived with 9 adventurous kids and 5 adults in tow, we were met with a peaceful, serene setting nestled in the woods. The quiet beauty of Clean & Green surroundings invited us to simply breathe and unwind! It didn’t hurt that there was spotty service forcing the kids to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. What made this stay stand out:•Space for all: The layout was perfect—kids could run wild safely while adults enjoyed peaceful areas to relax, chat, or simply watch the flames glow.•Trail time & outdoor gatherings: Our days were filled with hiking the nearby trails, exploring Pennsylvania’s wooded hills, and winding down each evening at the fire pits. The crackle of flames, the stories, marshmallows—pure magic. And honestly a few mistakes with kids making their first mountain pies!•Host responsiveness: When we hit a small snag, the owner was a text away. Their quick, helpful response turned a minor issue into a non-event—it was resolved smoothly and stress-free.•A touch of history everywhere: The very bones of the property—once a 1700s barn—echo the past, offering a tangible connection to the past while we made brand-new memories. It’s not just a stay—it’s a getaway with roots.
