New Home w/Heated Pool on Prestigious Banks Rd

Welcome to Gumbo Limbo! We are located on the prestigious Banks Road of Governors Harbour, the most sought-after location on Eleuthera. This area is called the Golden Mile, a stretch of island with pink sand beaches, patch reefs and great restaurants and cafes. We are 5 minute walk from famous Tippy's beachfront restaurant and bar, and a 3 minute drive from the beautiful and charming town of Governor's Harbour, where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, liquor stores and gas stations, along with many lovely historic homes.

We have just completed out new saltwater pool! There is a fee of $400 per week to heat the pool.

Gumbo Limbo is a short 150 yard walk down our deeded path to an ideal beach with clear blue water and soft pink sand. If you like walking the beach, you can head for Tippy's restaurant to eat or venture further to Club Med Beach or Culmer's Rocks.

The house is surrounded by native tropical vegetation which creates a peaceful, private setting. Gumbo Limbo features a spacious wrap-around veranda with a glimpse of the ocean. Our lovely veranda has both covered and uncovered areas, to read, relax, sunbathe, and enjoy the refreshing island breezes.

The house is single story with 9-foot ceilings. It was remodeled in 2022 and has a tasteful coastal décor. The central living space is great for relaxing and entertaining. It has an open concept with 2 comfortable sofas surrounding a large screen TV with cable and wifi in the family room. There are books, games, puzzles and movies. The living room flows into the dining area which has a table that can seat 8. The modern kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and looks out over the living space.

The master bedroom suite has an elegant ceiling of cypress boards and contains a king size bed. The master has a large en-suite bathroom with walk-in tiled shower, garden tub and dual sinks. The front guest bedroom has a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with tub and shower. The back guest bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. The guest bedrooms both have sliding doors to the veranda.

The house has central AC in all rooms as well as a large capacity washer and dryer. Free WIFI throughout the house. There's also a 5 gallon water dispenser, two sea kayaks, pack n play crib, Weber charcoal grill, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, wave boards, and snorkel sets are included with the rental as well. We also have a backup generator!

Rates are for 6 guests, additional guest $36 night/$250 week.
