About this property
Creekside Magic in Luxury RV on Working Farm
Welcome to our newly renovated double wide RV, permanently situated on our 145-acre working sheep farm just outside the village of Catskill. Everything is redone! Queen bed with luxury linens, fully equipped kitchen with full-size fridge, dining nook, working electric fireplace, and convertible sofa in living room for up to 2 extra guests. Bathroom is brand new too. Morning coffee on the deck, weber grill, creekside recreation area with firepit and picnic table. Plus sheep!
This magical spot oozing with charm is only 20 minutes from the Amtrak station in Hudson. Inside the RV you will find a light-filled and airy, tastefully decorated and well-stocked space that defies expectations. This place feels BIG for an RV! Everything is brand new, from the furnishings to the decor. The kitchen is set up for cooking with a gas range, full size fridge, and well-stocked with basic cooking supplies. Bedroom is queen-sized with luxury sheets and down pillows. The living room sofa also pulls out to a queen-size bed, allowing for up to 4 guests total ($25/night for extra guests after first 2).
The outside offers an amazing combination of privacy and convenience. You have two recreation areas exclusively for you: a wooden deck with seating area, plus a creekside picnic table and firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs.
While we live on the property in the main house, the RV and house are nicely separated by barns, giving you total privacy. You also have a personal parking area for up to 2 cars.
You have an embarrassment of natural riches right outside your doorstep. Take a hike to the on-property cave (yes, we have a cave!), have a look at the sheep grazing in their paddock, or read a book by the tranquil creek. Everything is set up for s'mores by the campfire.
On rainy days, cozy up by the electric fireplace with some games or classic DVDs on the built in entertainment system, or access the internet via high-speed wifi.
If you get tired of the R&R and want to explore further afield, check out our house guide for tons of recommendations of our favorite restaurants, shops and excursions. We love our charming little village of Catskill and know you will too!
The entire RV is private to you. While you are welcome to explore the farm grounds and watch the sheep from outside their paddock, we ask that you do not enter any of the barns, paddocks, or main house for safety and security reasons. This is a working farm and for that reason we need to protect the safety of our animals and staff. Please do not pet or feed the sheep or enter their paddock for any reason.
Check out our house guide for local recommendations as well as important do's and don'ts for the property. And of course--any questions, just ask!

About the host
Hosted by Cecilia

Hello! Welcome to our working sheep farm in Catskill. We are two working professionals and creative people stewarding this beautiful bit of land alongside our farm partners Hyunhee and Marsha. We love hiking, swimming, and enjoying everything our beautiful backyard has to offer. We also love meeting new people and sharing our world with them.
Why they chose this property
We got married in the Hudson Valley over 10 years ago, and always dreamed of building a life here. Five years ago, this beautiful farm found us, and through a series of miraculous events, we relocated here full-time.
What makes this property unique
We don't mean to brag, but this place is very special and offers access to nature that the majority of comfortable accommodations can't offer. The sheer variety on the property is remarkable; you have water, woods and rolling pasture all in one spot. Bring your hiking shoes: we provide the map. For the more ambitious hikers, we are only 20-30 minutes from incredible Catskill Mountain views. In the winter this means skiing at Wyndham or Hunter.
One thing to note: the interstate bisects the property, which causes a low hum of road sounds. You may notice it when you first arrive, but we promise it quickly turns into white noise. But do bear in mind this place is not silent--birds and sheep will add to the soundtrack!
