About this property
Sexiest Lil Cabin in Saugerties, NY
The newest addition to our unique and eclectic collection of getaways! This cozy, unique and romantic tiny cabin provides you all the comforts that will help you unwind and reconnect. The outdoor kitchen helps you feel like one with nature . The outdoor shower under the stars will surely make your heart skip a beat. Stargazing by the fire pit will make you long for the nights to never end. Memories are destined to be made here! Come back to nature...come back to yourself!
This private romantic little Cabin set-up is situated in a little neighborhood surrounded by farmland. The one-of-a-kind Washburn Cabin is a huge step up from your typical camping experience. Set in a private little lot that makes you feel like you're in the woods yet you're just minutes from the best restaurants, shopping and quaint towns that the Hudson Valley has to offer. This air-conditioned/heated cabin is a sexy little getaway for two like no other! Boasting a memory foam mattress with lush bedding and comfy club chairs to ensure a completely relaxing getaway.
The outdoor kitchen helps you to connect to nature as you brew your morning coffee! Sink with running water, k-cup coffee maker, mini-fridge, cooler and gas grill are just some of the amenities you will enjoy during your stay. You can comfortably enjoy your morning coffee and farm fresh egg breakfast on the covered outdoor kitchen deck on the two person table. Or head over by the fire pit with comfy adirondack chairs. A warm shower (in season) al fresco is sure to waken your senses and get you ready for a day of exploring in the Hudson Valley or simply staying put at the Cabin with your favorite book.
You will have your own free off street parking spot. On the way to the cabin, you will see the porta-potty that is cleaned out weekly and sanitized between each guest. It is stocked with plenty of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, body wipes and sanitizing wipes! Our guests always rave that our porta-potty's are the cleanest they've ever seen.
This getaway is perfect for those who are not convinced about camping in a tent just yet but are willing to test the waters in an actual cabin with windows, shades and a door! Nature is calling you but you'd rather sleep with the comfort of solid surroundings and air conditioning or heating. We get it! THIS is for you! So book your stay today....you will not regret it!
When the temperatures drop, usually in November, we must turn off the water hose in order to preserve the hose and keep it from freezing. During those times, we suggest bringing in water that you will use on a daily basis. We will provide you with a supply of paper plates, cups and plastic utensils! Water is typically turned back on in April. Unfortunately, we can't say exactly when in April as it truly depends on Mother Nature! Temperatures need to be above 40 degrees for multiple days before we can turn the water back on!
While we are located in a neighborhood, cell phone service can be spotty. We personally have not had any issues. We hope that once you arrive at the cabin, you’ll settle in and realize that disconnecting will help you reconnect to yourself!
***Please note our Strict Cancellation Policy. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip insurance for your reservation!! There are many companies out there that will give you different options at affordable prices! Please do your research. We do not approve date changes.***

This property was immaculate writing a review on our stay is almost impossible because I can’t put into words how amazing it was we will be back for sure
The Washburn cabin is a total gem. It is cozy and comfortable with great amenities. It’s private, but still close to town for shops and restaurants. The host, Alexandra, checked in with me to make sure my stay was going well. Just an all-around great experience.
The most peaceful cabin! The cabin was so clean and private. It really was like our own perfect little oasis. The out door shower was 10/10! We will definitely be back.
What an absolutely amazing space. You walk in through towering greenery and lots of lighting that opens up to a beautiful Courtyard with a fire pit, the sexy little cabin, the outdoor kitchen and shower. It's just perfect. I wish to keep it my little secret... but that would just be cruel to the rest of you!
We had a great time staying at the Washburn Cabin! Plenty of amenities and little touches that made it a pleasant stay, but it still felt like we were unplugged and had plenty of privacy.
Our stay was exactly as expected from the listing. This property is centrally located amid all the things we wished to do while visiting the Hudson Valley. The hosts have created a hidden oasis in the most unexpected place. Their attention to every detail made our stay very enjoyable.
The owners were great at setting us all up and were very nice and accommodating. This was a cute little house but be aware it is very small and there is no indoor shower or bathroom. Also no AC until after Memorial Day which made the humidity a challenge. All in all we made do and had a terrific time.
It is truly the sexiest lil cabin in Saugerties. The description, details, and photos were spot on. Despite a few scattered houses in the area it felt completely private. Everything on the property is well kept, clean, and nicely decorated. We had our doubts about the Porta John but it was super clean and easily accessible, as were the outdoor kitchen and shower. Private but close to town and outdoor activities. Alexandra was a great host with fast, courteous communication anytime we had questions. We will definitely be back! Thanks Alexandra!

Overall Great Stay Wasn’t told there was no running water So me and my partner had to go to planet fitness to shower. Was only given an open bag of body wipes which only had 3 wipes for 3 days

Unfortunately, this guest did not read through the listing completely before he booked a stay with us. We are very clear when our water is shut off. We are also always open to communicate with guests before they book so they may ask any questions necessary before they book their stay! Multiple packages of body wipes were left for your stay as we do for all guests.

One suggestion- perhaps a composting toilet instead of a port-a-potty.
Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay! The property is beautifully & thoughtfully designed & maintained.
It might also be good to market it as glamping, since from the Expedia post it seemed like the cabin had a kitchen and toilet in the cabin and I was surprised with the Porta Potty and outdoor shower and kitchen. Admittedly, I didn’t read the Expedia post so closely before reserving. But especially with the colder weather now I would recommend preparing guests for the cold and outdoor toilet and kitchen and shower.
We did have some good laughs and cozy snuggles.

That place was impossible to heat at all,the heater is super small and after waiting hours the temperature was almost the same. The host removed the tap from the sink, was not possible even to wash hands after the bathroom. I want a refund
This was our second time at the sexy Washburn cabin and we love it. You have a sense of being secluded in a forest somewhere with your own little private compound while actually being near civilization. The best of both worlds. It's quaint, romantic and quiet. The decor is funky and playful. There's enough room inside to be comfortable and cool in the summer, and plenty of room outside to lounge and relax. It's a step up from glamping, and so much better than a boring roadside hotel. Our host, Alexandra, has been extremely accommodating, and always quick to respond to communication. It's become our first choice for Saugerties/Woodstock/Kingston area.
