Thanks again for choosing our vacation rental.
Perfect location for accommodating our cycling vacation. Awesome to be able to roll out of the driveway every morning to meet our friends for a ride. The kitchen was perfect for dining in and the outdoor furniture was a nice feature in the afternoons. We would definitely be interested in this rental again next year!
This is our fourth rental in central Florida, and the best by far. The outdoor space has a view of the hillside covered by Live Oaks, a little slice of heave on earth. The house is nicely appointed and very comfortable. The host iwasvery responsive a Dora is

There were 5 from our family who were visiting family near Ocala, FL. This property allowed us to be in the middle of all the things we wanted to do. From a cruise out of Canaveral, to Orlando, to Spring Training Baseball Games in Lakeland & Tampa, this property was able to fill our every need. We would highly recommend this property to anyone that would like to enjoy Central Florida.

We stayed 28 days and had a great experience at this home. It was very comfortable, beds were awesome. Very quiet and close to stores and shopping!
Dora, the hostess of this property was extremely helpful and so kind. She and her husband would do anything to make your stay enjoyable, and they did! I have a new friend for life! Thank you for always being available and sharing your home! ♥️
My family just recently spent our Spring Break at this property, and fabulous doesn’t even begin to describe it! From the moment we arrived, I was at home. Everything we could have needed, from laundry supplies to shampoo and spices for dinner, was right at our fingertips. The beds were comfortable and the quality linens made for dreamy nights. We enjoyed walking the property every morning and stargazing from the back field at night. (We brought our telescope along and the stars put on a show for us!) Dora (the homeowner) was the hostess with the mostest and available at a moment’s notice if I ever needed her. The week that we spent here allowed for countless memories and some much needed rejuvenation. All of that, plus I feel like our family has found a new friend in Dora. We will return time and time again. ❤️
Dora was easy to work with and attentive to any questions i had. The house was clean and well represented by the listing. Very comfortable living space and very nice kitchen. We loved the rural setting! The barking dogs were at time bothersome but otherwise a great stay!

Clean and spacious, nice TV, plenty of parking
We enjoyed our stay, 6 adults and 2 three year olds. The master bedroom was large enough for the 3 year olds to sleep in their blow up beds with their parents. One room had two twins and another a queen and a small bed we didn't use. It didn't have rails so it would be good for an older child. There is an orange tree in the back yard that the girls were excited to see.
The great room is nice an spacious and open to the kitchen. Everything was clean. The TV only has very basic cable but a nice feature is that you can stream directly from your phone to the TV making Netflix or ESPN very easy to watch, no cables needed. Wifi worked well.
The only detraction was the couple large dogs they have in a fenced in area in front of the house. They didn't bark much but every so often they would get excited and bark at night and it was loud enough to wake me in the front bedroom. The back bedrooms were a bit quieter.
Overall we were very satisfied with the property. Everything was clean and ready for us. We received our deposit back promptly. Mount Dora is about 20 minutes away and a nice place to eat and shop. We would stay again.

Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood for its perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Set on 5 acres of land, it offers a peaceful retreat with plenty of space to enjoy nature, while still being just a short drive away from all the shopping, dining, and adventure options we need. The area allows us to enjoy the best of both worlds—living in the serene countryside, yet having easy access to the vibrant local community and all the amenities it offers. Whether it’s a quick trip for groceries, dining out at local restaurants, or exploring nearby outdoor adventures, we love how everything we need is within reach while still being able to retreat to our private, quiet space at the end of the day
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with the Sugar Loaf Mountain area because it’s one of Florida’s hidden gems — peaceful, scenic, and full of charm. The neighborhood sits on rolling hills surrounded by nature, offering beautiful sunrises, starry nights, and the kind of fresh air you don’t find in the city.
It’s the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience — close enough to local shops, restaurants, and wineries, yet far enough to enjoy privacy and quiet. The area is ideal for those who love outdoor activities like biking, hiking, or simply relaxing with a view.
We chose this location because it gives our guests the feeling of being on a private retreat, while still being within easy reach of everything Central Florida has to offer.
