Enjoy Your Vacation On Lake Pistakee Of The Chain

Looking for that vacation home feel on the beautiful Chain O'Lakes? Our clean cozy cabin is perfect for a couple, or family of 4 but can sleep up to 7. Breath-taking views, sunsets, lakeside fun, water & winter sports and more can be found here!

Our cottage is a single level with a large front deck. There are a few stairs up to the deck and front entrance. The deck includes a propane grill, 2 tables and seating for 8. A private fire pit is located down the driveway and on the yard near the lake.

The front great room includes a sleeper sofa, love seat, and a 50" TV with a Sony Streaming Blu-Ray/DVD player with WiFi for streaming other entertainment platforms. A Netflix login is available upon request

The dining table has chairs for 6 and the cozy kitchen has all the bowls, utensils, pans, cups, coffee maker, microwave, blender, stove and fridge. Oil, salt and pepper are also provided.

The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second has a bunk bed (twin on top of full). Both bedrooms have TVs with a Sony Streaming Blu-Ray/DVD players with WiFi for streaming other entertainment platforms.

Full bath has tub and shower.

Utility room has a stacker washer/dryer available for needed use. You will also find a booster seat for dining, a Pack N Play crib and queen air mattress.

There is free WIFI/internet provided.

There is parking for two vehicles and a complimentary boat slip provided if needed.

The home is located on a large property with 3 other homes, all sharing the 60 feet of lakeside frontage, giant back yard and pier. Additional boat slips boarder the property if needed and can be discussed at the time of inquiry. Enjoy amazing fishing, boating, even swimming off the pier if desired.

With your rental you will receive 20% off all your food & drinks (dine-in, carry-out & delivery) at the most popular restaurant in Fox Lake, Morettis. Tax & tip not included.

Great Location and Cabin

Great use of the space, and the patio with grill overlooking the lake is amazing for cooking and eating. Bar is RIGHT next door so can be a little noisy at night, but wasn't enought to bother us at all.

Jessica was a lovely host! She was very clear with instructions. The property was clean and a great air equipped with everything we needed for our stay and more. A few quick steps away from Famous Freddie’s. Will definitely be coming back!

Nice place. Clean. Good dock. Nice fire pit . Great location. Could be too loud for children with bar next door. Great view on the lake but big hill to walk down for older people or bad legs. Porch could use some cleaning and repair. Will go back.

Pros: Beautiful view Plenty of room for our family of 7 Linens provided Washer & dryer Kitchen utensils provided Close parking Full kitchen Great hosts with clear instructions Easy check in/out Comfortable beds Lots of outdoor space (shared with other houses) Cons: 3 feet away from a LOUD nightclub. We couldn't enjoy sitting on the deck at night because the nightclub is so loud. It’s not too disruptive when you're inside the house watching TV but when the house is quiet and we were trying to sleep we heard the music & bass until 3am. I'd suggest bringing a noise machine to help drown that out because it's very loud. No fan in the bunk bed room - it did get stuffy. The kids had to leave their door open to try and get some air flow and even then it was noticably hotter/stuffier in there. I'd bring a fan with if we stayed again. Master bedroom fan is permanently on high and taps/clicks as it spins so you can choose to try and sleep with random tapping or with no fan at all. Firepit is shared with the other houses who, during our stay, just were groups of adults staying at them so bringing our kids to it did not feel OK. Overall it was fine and I'd stay again. The house itself was nice and what I expected but I would've liked to have known beforehand we would be 3 steps away from a nightclub. The house served us well for what we needed, but being able to also enjoy our nights there wouldve made it a lot nicer stay.

Excellent place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. My 3 and 5 year old girls loved the bunk bed and TV in their room. Nice kitchen and bathroom, the deck has a great view to watch all of the boats. Caught some white bass, largemouth and bluegill along the shoreline. Had a nice fire in the firepit. I would highly recommend staying here! Zero complaints.

There were issues with the tv signal going out and a few more minor issues in the house. Overall good visit, would like to go back in future and will recommend it too others.

My family and I had a really good time. This is a good location if you are coming in with your boat and ready for water activities, we brought our kayaks and floating mat, also the renting areas are just next door. Our kids had a blast. Jessica was a great host.

This was our first time staying at this property. We have stayed at other rentals on the Chain O' Lakes. This one is above par. Very clean and roomie. It slept 4 adults comfortably. Access to Famous Fredides and their boat slips was perfect. We liked it so much we plan to rent the large house and the same cabin again and bring more fiends.

Absolutely Beautiful Cottage

Jessica was AMAZING and so patient with our booking. Everything was perfect and my husband and his mom really enjoyed their stay. Husband said he’d love to visit during the summer and bring our boat if we were coming to Illinois. A really wonderful house by the lake. Perfect for small getaways and gatherings.

Easy to book, easy to navigate the house, and very user-friendly property. Lots of classic amenities including neat rooms, modern technology, modern kitchen, beautiful patio with grill, and large lot with lake and fire pit. Definitely a place to revisit for any short getaway from the hustle bustle of the city.
