Relax in a lovely family beach house, steps from the ocean, in the heart of San Juan! Your perfect getaway to the sea, the old city’s colorful streets, Santurce trendy art district, Calle Loiza food scene, El Yunque’s rain forest, Fajardo's bioluminescent bay & so much more!

The place is the 1st floor of a two-story house, which can comfortably host 4~7 people. The property is located on a shady residential street, 1.5 block from the beach, in San Juan’s Park Boulevard community (Ocean Park neighborhood).

The apartment is on the ground floor and is 900 sqft. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large living room and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor shower, a shaded and breezy patio, and private parking. It can host up to 7 guests.

BEDROOMS: The master bedroom (orange) has a queen bed, light-blocking curtains, a desk and a closet. The second bedroom (blue) has a robust iron bunk bed with two full mattresses, a twin bed, light-blocking curtains and a large closet. The two bedrooms have quiet air conditioning units. Each bed has quality, fresh linens, pillows and blankets.

BATHROOM: There is one fully equipped bathroom. A hair dryer, basic toiletries (shampoo, conditionner and shower gel), fresh bath towels and beach towels are included. In addition, there is also an outside shower you can use to rinse off when you come back from the beach.

DINING ROOM & KITCHEN: The kitchen area is equipped to cook and enjoy a dinner at home. It has a full-size refrigerator, a microwave oven, a 4-burner gas cooking range, a traditional oven, a toaster, a kettle and a coffee machine. Dinner ware, glass ware, pans, kitchen utensils and basic cooking spices/oil are all included. And coffee as well, of course ! I love to cook and made sure you would find everything you needed to prepare a meal for family or friends. The kitchen opens onto a dining and living area with a table which can comfortably sit up to 6-7 people for meals.

LIVING ROOM & PATIO: The living room, which is equipped with a ceiling fan, has a comfortable sofa, and a 32" TV. It opens onto a private patio, equipped with outdoor lounge furniture - perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or the late afternoon breeze.

LAUNDRY & BBQ: A washer and dryer are available for guests on the property’s premises. Guests are welcome to use the BBQ located on the side of the house.

INTERNET: Free WIFI is available in the house.

BEACH ESSENTIALS: There are 2 beaches within a short walking distance of the house. We provide beach towels, as well as some beach chairs, couple of body boards, foam noodles, beach umbrella, fishing road as well as a cooler for a day at the beach!
We are available on site and via sms/mobile phones at any time.
We welcome all guests. Our apartment makes a perfect stay for families get-a-ways, friends, LGBTQ travelers etc.

Great stay

Sophie met us at her property and gave us a little tour and the workings of the home. She is so pleasant and was easily available. The home had great touches; soft sheets, blankets and fluffy towels. The AC works great and the water pressure was perfect. Sophie’s rental is the near the beach and close to yummy places to eat. I would love to rent the whole house next time.

Maison très agréable - fidèle à la description du site

Tout est conforme aux renseignements fournis sur le site. Maison très bien équipée et décoration simple mais fonctionnelle et agréable. Équipement de plage (y compris serviettes de bain) très apprécié. Sophie était absente durant notre séjour mais son amie est très sympathique et nous a donné beaucoup de bonnes recommandations. Elle est très disponible et répond rapidement à nos messages. Le quartier est résidentiel et calme (si ce n'est qu'il y a beaucoup de chiens qui aboient souvent, mais la propriétaire n'y est pour rien!) et l'océan est vraiment à deux blocs. L'inconvénient d'être dans un quartier résidentiel, c'est qu'il y a peu de commerces et de restaurants à proximité de la maison et il faut une voiture pour aller partout. Heureusement, les voitures Uber ne manquent pas et les trajets sont peu onéreux. C'est agréable de pouvoir ne mettre la climatisation en route que dans les chambres. Il y a un ventilateur au plafond dans la pièce principale et nul besoin de climatisation dans cette pièce. L'espace extérieur à l'avant est bien aéré et agréable pour lire ou boire un verre.

Wonderful stay for family with small children

This place was just about perfect for my family of me and husband, 3.5 yo and 8 month old. The house was safe and contained and there were areas outside for the older one to play. The beds were really comfortable. Sophie was amazingly sweet and a perfect host - not in the way but available when necessary. The location was only 2 blocks to the beach. The only not ideal thing was that although restaurants weren't far away, they were not close enough for my family to pop over to easily. An excellent place to stay!

Sophie was an amazing host and the apt was superb in every way!

I have used Homeaway dozens of times and this by far was my greatest experience. Sophie made the entire stay so enjoyable and is such a gracious and friendly host. She has done such a great job making the apartment and the entire house warm and welcoming. The apt had everything we needed, was a short walk to the beach, centrally located between Condado and Isla Verde and on the edge of Ocean Park. It was a quick hop to the grocery store and many amazing eating and drinking establishments. It was wonderful to just sit on the front porch, read and enjoy the breeze. I would highly recommend Sophie's place on your next visit to San Juan!
