A retreat in the Western North Carolina mountains where the air is clean, the stars are bright, and the energy invites you to breathe deeper, laugh harder, and remember who you are. We are in an area called First Peak because we sit at the foothills of the first peak of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 180 degree views are truly stunning from sunrise to sunset and the grounds are magic to walk on.

Tucked away in peaceful Polk County, Levity House was designed with intention, joy, and a bit of magic. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the shift—quiet, grounded, and full of possibility.
The home is filled with thoughtful design and cozy charm. Think soft linens, playful touches, and an open layout that encourages both connection and solitude. Whether you're here with family, close friends, or on a solo retreat, there's space to spread out, reflect, and just be.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place all trash in trash bags and put them in the GFL dumpster in the driveway.
Leave lights on in living room (display cabinet & light on the side table next to the brown couch. They are on a timer.
Lock all doors, including the screen door latch and the exterior laundry door latch. Lock the kitchen door bottom handle but please do not lock the bottom handle on the porch door or the deck door.
Return outdoor/indoor furniture to original spot
Cover outdoor couch, push ottoman under table beneath kitchen window & cover
Close game room garage door
Put away pool toys in white basket
Lock pool
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
