Beautiful Lake Harmony chalet - lake access, close to ski resorts & attractions

Our Pocono mountain retreat is located in the Estates, a short walk to the lake but far enough from the main road to provide a quiet woodsy experience. Wake up in the A-Frame Chalet to a view trees and sky, jump in the lake, play tennis on the nearby courts, drive a short distance to ski slopes or unwind at the many nearby bars and restaurants Nearby you can hike the trails of Hickory Run State Park, shop at the outlets and antique shops, go river-rafting or play a round of golf at Jack Frost.

Hi there, and thanks for your interest in our vacation home. We provide linens, towels, tubes and more so there's no need to worry about laundry or forgetting your shampoo. Should you care to do laundry during your stay, you can use our brand new high-efficiency LG washer and dryer. Our chalet is cozy and comfortable with 2 bedrooms on the first floor, 2 bedrooms on the second floor, 2 full bathrooms, 2 separate living spaces (great for a kids hang out), as well as a loft above the living room with 2 twin beds, a small couch, and dresser. Enjoy the views of our woodsy neighborhood out on the deck or in front of the fireplace through our large floor to ceiling windows. Our open concept living room, kitchen and dining space are ideal for entertaining. We will do our best to ensure the kitchen is always stocked with essentials like oil, spices, condiments, and coffee to make your stay as carefree as possible. Guests can also enjoy our outdoor grill, (we'll make sure there's always a propane backup) on our spacious second-floor deck. We have speakers throughout the house on the first floor, second floor and outdoor patio on the first floor all controlled separately. Guests can use any Bluetooth enabled device to connect and enjoy tunes throughout the whole house. We have a firepit on the side of the house along with blankets just for the firepit for those cooler Pocono nights.

Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire, private house. Because we are located in Lake Harmony Estates, guests also have access to a members-only beach area (passes will be provided), a tennis and shuffleboard court and access to parking at the beach. The beach is about a 500ft walk from the house.

Neighborhood Overview
Split Rock Resort includes H2Oooohh! indoor waterpark, an 18-hole miniature golf course, movie theater, bowling, and arcade. Aquatopia and Kalahari indoor waterparks are also within a 30-minute drive from the house and are a great indoor activity for the kids year round! In warmer months, check out Camelback's Camelbeach outdoor water park, mountain coaster, alpine slide, and ziplining! We've heard they're doing nighttime ziplining -- will update after we've had the chance to check it out! Boat Rental Check out Pocono Paddle and Fitness - located right on the lake at Lake Harmony Inn for canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. Skiing/Tubing: Big Boulder: approximately a 5-minute drive -- also offers night tubing! Jack Frost: approximately a 20-minute drive Other activities to do and see in the area: - Penn’s Peak -- tons of live music and shows, be sure to check their website for current listings - Hickory Run State Park -- Boulder Field, Hawk Falls, hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and a sand beach at Sand Spring Lake for swimming - Pocono Raceway - Casinos -- Mount Airy Casino (30-minute drive) and Mohegan Sun (35-minute drive) - Jim Thorpe -- About a 20-minute drive from the house, JT is a quaint, historic town with lots of sightseeing, hiking, white water rafting on the Lehigh River and tons of restaurants and shopping - Harmony ATV -- feeling adventurous? Take some ATVs for a muddy spin on a self-guided tour - Wineries -- Check out the many wineries in the area

Getting Around
We recommend Lake Harmony Turismo shuttle service. Nobody wants a DUI on vacation - lots of choices for groups and excellent and super friendly service.
