Quiet retreat that has it all

Loved our stay on this gorgeous, quiet lake. The sunrises were spectacular, and days were spent fishing, and on the kayaks and paddleboards. The fire pit and hot tub were a perfect way to unwind before retiring to the super comfortable beds. The home was perfectly located for quick trips into Camden or Rockland, and easy day trips to Acadia and Boothbay Harbor.

Great Lakeside retreat!

We loved our stay at this house! Everything seemed new and was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed paddling on the lake out to the island, it was very peaceful. We also enjoyed using the hottub and backyard amenities. It was extra nice that the house had A/C--a rarity in Maine. I would definitely return to this house again!

This home has it all! Small but tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, the space is perfect for a family of 4 or 5. Depending on the time of year or weather, the small bunkhouse on property is an adorable place for a couple extra people to sleep too. Dock, kayaks, paddle boards and all the gear made for great water fun. The lake was so peaceful. Hot tub and fire pit were a relaxing way to end the day! There is minimal storage space in the kitchen, which meant washing dishes after each meal to have enough for the next meal, and couldn't store many pantry staples. There were also a limited number of serving pieces (bowls, platters, etc). But between the small grocery down the road and many farm stands we had plenty of fresh choices. Only one person being able to shower at a time could be challenging for a larger family. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Location was perfect for quick trips to Camden or Rockland, and slightly longer day trips to Acadia and Boothbay Harbor. We had a wonderful stay!
