The cottage is so cozy and clean and comfortable bed, and the view of the ocean and your own beach was amazing, I would definitely come back , was fun to explore Powell River , all the lakes and beaches

Everything was great, communication, check in, rental and location. Hosts are fantastic, will stay here again. Spent 5 days, riding MTB trails, hiking and exploring the many lakes.

Cozy cottage that was a one room school with view of the ocean and lovely hosts. Private beach with sightings of seals and eagles. Could hear the sea lions and whales out in the bay at night. Great place to stay and relax!

The schoolhouse is great! The beach access is phenomenal and they even sent back something we left behind. The only thing that was a surprise was the main house in front, but we still had ample ocean view.

This is a beautifully restored heritage Schoolhouse, built around 1926. The cottage is light and bright, which gives a spacious feel to it. Dark blue floor paint and colourful tribal rugs make it feel luxurious and cozy, as does the gas fireplace. We appreciated both the well equipped kitchen and the efficient propane BBQ. Everything was very clean, and our hosts were warm and welcoming, sharing the bounty from their garden. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, and hope to return before too long!

Lovely Quiet, restful place to stay and recharge/

Did a 2 night get away for my birthday. Great choice. Loved the simplicity of the place. Lots of fans and cool breeze from the windows. Could hear the ocean lapping from the windows at night. Deck to sit and have morning coffee and make plans for the day. Andrew was gracious and knowledgeable about the area. Left us fruit from the trees and all the essentials to get started. Lots of local places and a good collection in a binder of potential ideas for things to do and see. Can't wait to return for a longer stay next time. Kitchen and home were well stocked with knives that could actually cut things. Coffee maker kettle and all you need for a comfortable stay. Great wifi as well. Thank you very much it was a lovely birthday weekend.
