This was the perfect escape for my husband and I. Located on one of the most peaceful ponds weve ever been to it had everything we could have asked for in a quick weekend getaway. Guy was a fantastic and attentive host from before we even chose to book the airstream. He was quick to respond to any questions or assistance we needed and was a genuinely kind person who is so excited to share this amazing gem of a location with others. The airstream itself was very clean and stocked with all the necessities you could need in the kitchen including a small kurieg and even kcup sized filters so you can use your own coffee. Going in early October we were concerned about being cold but the heat and ac unit within the trailer kept us comfortable at all times of the day. There is a private fire pit set up outside the trailer which was a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. There is another house on the property that is a separate rental but there has clearly been thought into the set up to maintain privacy for both spaces. The big draw of this rental though is the serenity of Sportsman Pond. At over 150 acres and at most 10 other houses on the pond you are treated to a kind of privacy and relaxation that is so hard to find these days. There is a kayak and two boats available for use to go and explore all the hidden coves and wildlife around the pond. We even made our way back down later at night to enjoy some stargazing from the dock. We cannot wait to return!
