The overall property is "tired"--hallway rugs and in suite rugs are in need of replacement. The decks are very small and are not the ones pictured in the information on VRBO --that was very disappointing as I asked about the reality of the information published and the actual unit--I was told "yes" it is the unit. It wasn't.The kitchen is well equipped with up to date appliances, nice granite countertops, and appropriate dishes, cutlery, and cooking supplies.I would only recommend this property to individuals who do not plan to spend much time in the unit.

Beautiful place and so close to Banff. Directions to the pool was confusing but we found it. Very clean and nice place for family. Kitchen could be stocked with more basics for guests to use: no cooking oil, this does not cost much. We just needed some oil to cook breakfast. Not enough laundry detergent available for use. The washer is tiny, could only put in 4 sweat pants and it is full. With all the outdoors activities we do around the area we needed to do lots of laundry and it would take too much time. But other than that, we loved the place and would definitely recommend it when you go to visit Banff. Hosts were quick to reply to our questions on the chat. Loved the place. Thank you! We would love to come back amd stay longer at Aurora lodge!
