Stay in a cozy log cabin located in an historic town. Ms. Ada’s House was completely restored in 2023. Built in the early 1830’s, you’ll feel like you’re stepping back in time while enjoying its modern amenities. Sleep in the original log cabin room, relax on the daybed swing on the front porch, and enjoy meals under the light of a lantern. Then at the end of the day, the bright and sunny living room transforms into a cozy den as you relax by the fireplace. You can’t help but fall in love with Arrow Rock and the magic it has to offer.

What an unexpected surprise! The simple, humble exterior did not prepare us for the treat. We found upon opening the door. Ms. Ada‘s lovely home was soon filled with “oohs and ahhs”! Every nook and corner gave us a new expression of joy! Though here for the lyceum performance of a Christmas Carol, our stay here has become a highlight in and of itself. We are already discussing when we might have opportunity to return Christmas joy and blessings to your family!

Restoring this cabin became a passion project of ours, and we love sharing this space so guests can have a relaxing experience and slow down to enjoy the simplicities in life.

Why they chose this property

Arrow Rock is a hidden gem, and many feel its enchanted energy that comes from a rich history throughout the village. Visit the beginning of the Santa Fe Trail, dine in the oldest continuously operating restaurant west of the Mississippi River, and tour famous artist George Caleb Bingham's childhood home. Take in a show at The Lyceum with nationally renowned actresses and actors, or enjoy one of the villages amazing festivals.

What makes this property unique

Ms. Ada's House is full of history and stories that make it the sanctuary it is today. Feel like you're living in the past while enjoying the modern luxuries of today. The designer decor creates a sense of luxury, whether you're spending time in the bright and open living room, cozy kitchen in the light of a lantern, or enjoying the fire pit on the back patio.
