The apt. is on two levels, it has 4 bedrooms (1 master double, 1 twin, 2 singles) 6 beds. 3 of the rooms with own balcony. Small fully-equipped kitchenette with DW, microwave,cosy sitting-room with balcony overlooking a spacious, beautiful terrace with incomparable view on the mountains. The apt. has 2 bathrooms shower, 2 independent parking-lots, TV LCD in the main rooms. 'Ciasa toa' is located at approx. 1 mile from the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo which is easily reached with a pleasant 15-minutes walk. For non-walkers bus-stop to village centre at 50 mts , three excellent restaurants nearby and - at approx. 300 mts - a fully-equipped play-ground for children. To the north-east , at about 2.5 miles on the main road to Tre Croci Pass, are the two distinguished ski areas of the Faloria and Cristallo.

Clean, cozy apartment in Cortina

Great place! Our host Carla is amazing, she’s very attentive and responsive and helped us with anything we needed. Her apartment is clean, has parking, and only a few min drive into town. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is very convenient, well located and with all kind of equipment. Vittoria is a great host. Unfortunately at the end of the stay we suffer a ski accident and we are very thankful how Vittoria support us, she was very kind and helpful

Charming Chalet & Charming Owner

This chalet has incredible views from the terrace & the main bedroom. It is charming with lots of wood, but the bathrooms & kitchen are very updated. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The owner & her brother was very kind & speak excellent English which was a comfort as our Italian is dismal. I was sick & the owner offered to get me medicine or groceries. We highly recommend this rental & it has parking another plus!!!

Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Unser kleiner Hund war ebenfalls willkommen. Gute Ausstattung. Ein Stellplatz ist vorhanden und befindet sich direkt vor der Tür. In die Stadt und zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist ein Fußweg von ca 20 bis 25 min zurückzulegen.

Wir haben uns zu fünft in der Wohnung pudelwohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung / die Küche sind komplett ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist, muss hinten raus die Fenster geschlossen halten. Die Staustufen des Baches sind laut. Wir haben das aber genossen. Vittoria, unsere Gastgeberin, ist super nett und hat alles möglich gemacht.

Excellent séjour à Alvérà.

Un grand merci à Vittoria pour son hospitalité. La maison était très confortable, avec tous les équipements disponibles. Nous avons pu faire des randonnées formidables dans les Dolomites. Résidence que nous conseillons !

Prettig om van te voren gebeld te worden. Huis is in orde. Wel naast een beek met werkzaamheden, gaf overdag veel lawaai. Terras is heerlijk. Helaas ging afwasmachine stuk en dat heeft even geduurd. Goeie bedden en keuken Mooie omgeving voor wandelingen en fietsen

Bellissima casa con tanto spazio, confort e servizi

Abbiamo passato una splendida settimana con la nostra numerosa truppa di ragazzi ed i due amici quattro zampe. La casa è spaziosa, ben curata, con tutti i servizi e ci ha permesso di vivere una settimana tra trekking e passeggiate nella splendida cornice di Cortina. Il paesaggio al tramonto sulle Tofane, Cinque Torri e Croda da Lago è incantevole. La gentilezza della proprietaria ha poi fatto il resto. Un ottimo soggiorno che replicheremo senz'altro se dovessimo tornare nell'Ampezzano in estate. Michele

- für sechs erwachsene Personen mit Skiausrüstung sehr eng und kleine Zimmer - für die Größe teuer - Zahlungsbestätigung kam erst kurz vor dem Urlaub und nicht direkt nach Zahlungseingang (ca. Halbes Jahr vorher) - Walter war sehr nett und reparierte einen verstopften Abfluss direkt

Dear Larissa, thank you for your follow-up. Sorry to hear that the rooms were too small for you. It is the first time that somebody complains about this, but this is a mountain house and volumes are smaller for a better heating performance. At all cases you had the chance to see the photos of the house beforehand and could make your choice with total knowledge and awareness. As for the storage of ski equipment, you could have told us that you needed more space and we would have helped you very willingly. Payment: you made a down-payment directly through HOME AWAY and it was they who were supposed to send a confirmation which apparently they did not do. I myself made a telephone call to you to have news about your arrival. No other attempt was made on your part to get in touch with us.... On Xmas day I left a bag with our traditional Panettone (3 pieces), the traditional Xmas cake, along with a bottle of sweet wine to celebrate and a Xmas card to wish you Happy Xmas, but I think that maybe you did not see the bag because there was no reaction on your part. I came along a few times to see if you needed anything (fresh towels, etc), but there always was a sort of cold reaction to my attempts to be kind. I am sorry that I was not able to make your stay in our house a memorable one. I really tried hard. I sincerely hope that your next Xmas holiday will be a better one. Gemütliche, saubere, ordentliche Ferienwohnung, liebevoll an alles gedacht, freundliche Gastgeber

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dieser gemütlichen, sauberen und ordentlichen Ferienwohnung inmitten der hohen Berge mit tollem Blick von der schönen Terasse. Die netten Gastgeber hatten einfach an alles gedacht ( in Küche, Bad usw.) mit vielen liebevollen Extras wie Obstkorb und Essen, weil wir erst in der Nacht ankamen.... Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas oberhalb von Cortina d Àmpezzo und ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Touren wie die "3 Zinnen", "Lago di Sorapis", "Cinque Torri", Pragser See u.a. Ausflüge im Hochgebirge. Wir waren jeden Tag unterwegs und hatten hier einen wunderschönen, sonnigen Urlaub. Da man von hier aus mit dem Auto nur 2 Stunden bis Venedig fährt, verbrachten wir auch einen Tag in Venedig. Wir waren 6 Personen und hatten ausreichend Platz. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön für alles an die Gastgeber von Familie Käppler!!!

Parfait

L'appartement est parfait et 100% conforme au descriptif et très confortable. Il ne manque absolument rien. Il y a même les cartes pour les randonnées. Nous avons été vraiment très bien accueillis par les propriétaires qui sont très sympathiques et bienveillants. Cortina d'Ampezzo est un très bon emplacement pour randonner dans les Dolomites. L'appartement est à l'écart du centre ville, dans un hameau tranquille. Juste un petit conseil: mieux vaut éviter de faire ses courses à Cortina le samedi après-midi. C'est quasiment impossible de se garer. Mieux vaut attendre un jour si possible.
