The Space:
This listing is a cozy studio apartment in a three story multi family building. Inside of the unit, you can enjoy a kitchenette with all appropriate pots, pans, and utensils, coffee station, private bathroom, and a 42" tv.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the front door of the building with a smart lock, and will then need to walk up the stairs to the unit and use your unique code on the smart lock on the door of the unit to gain access. There is a FREE shared laundry in the basement of the building that you will have unlimited access to. Detergent is provided.
Parking: the first three hours of street parking are FREE in front of the building. You need to move your car every three hours for it to remain free. The sign will say 3 hour parking between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday so outside of those days and times, you do not need to move your car. *****Please note: other streets and parts of Old Town have different time/day restrictions and some areas do require payment.
The King Street metro station is about a 15 minute walk away, which serves as your best access to DC and the surrounding areas of Virginia, Maryland, and DC. Old Town Alexandria also has a FREE trolley called the King Street Trolley that has stops every couple of blocks along King Street that runs between the waterfront in Old Town and the King Street metro station. It operates seven days a week between 11am and 11pm.
The Neighborhood:
Old Town is Alexandria’s beloved downtown and nationally designated historic district on the Potomac River waterfront. The King Street Mile and surrounding brick-lined sidewalks are studded with centuries-old architecture, historic attractions and independent businesses. Old Town is the heart of Alexandria, located just minutes from Washington, D.C., voted one of Travel + Leisure’s Best Cities in the US in 2023 and a Condé Nast Traveler top 3 Best small towns in the US in 2023.
Other Things to Note:
There is a $1,000 fine for any sign of smoking in addition to cost to replace any damaged items. There is a $1,500 fine for partying, including large number of unauthorized guests and sustained elevated noise. All unapproved late checkouts will incur a $25 per hour fine.
Follow city rules for street parking.
