I had the most wonderful stay at this super charming cottage! The photos are lovely, but in person, the place is truly breathtaking — such a hidden gem. The location couldn’t be better: just steps from the Clark Island Preserve, a beautiful beach, incredible hiking trails, and even a swimming quarry that felt like our own private retreat. We were lucky with gorgeous late September weather and spent our days picnicking by the beach, then returning to the cottage to unwind, read, and cozy up by the fire in the evenings. The home itself is perfectly designed for comfort and ease. The cook’s kitchen is impressively well-stocked with everything you could need, making it a joy to prepare meals. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable — we all slept so well. Thoughtful touches are everywhere, reflecting how much the owner values hospitality and guest experience. Communication was seamless, and it was clear from the start that the host truly cares about making each stay special. The area is also a food lover’s delight — we enjoyed a fantastic meal at The Causeway Restaurant just down the road, and a picturesque 10-minute drive brought us to McLoon Lobster Shack, where the lobster rolls were unforgettable. This cottage is ideal for families, extended families, or even a romantic getaway for two. Whether you want adventure, relaxation, or a mix of both, this is the perfect place to land. I can’t wait to come back!
