NEWER LISTING: Welcome to 3ONE8 Manzanita; a newly remodeled, private home retreat in Manzanita, Oregon.

3ONE8 is the perfect escape for couples and small families who enjoy high end furnishings in a casual and modern setting. Interior amenities include acacia hardwood flooring, new kitchen appliances, All-Clad cookware, Ceasarstone counters, Ann Sacks tiled bathroom with walk in shower and heated marble flooring, dimmable LED lighting, Hansgrohe plumbing fixtures throughout, Spectrum Wi-Fi, newer contemporary furniture and other high end finishes. It's hard to find a vacation rental in Manzanita, or on the coast for that matter, that isn't dark, dated or decorated by your great aunt.

The interior layout, designed by TVA Architects of Portland, is open while still intimate. Both bedrooms feature new queen size beds, new carpeting and the larger bedroom has a ROKU Smart TV w/ YouTubeTV. Main living area is dynamite and has terrific flow - it's one big great room with great light and views to the golf course in the back yard. Another ROKU Smart TV w/ YouTubeTV is in living area. You also have your own backyard complete with private patio, dining area, fire pit, bbq grill and golf course views.

Our favorite part of staying at 3ONE8? Sipping fresh coffee on the back patio in the morning and watching the birds and squirrels play in the pine trees and watching the golfer's terrible tee shots into the 6th green. Two perfect adjectives - CUTE and CLEAN. Location is dynamite - we’re a block to all the shops on Laneda Ave then just a short stroll down to the beach - tucked away on a quiet street with a private backyard overlooking the 6th green on the golf course. It’s magical.

Shawn is a smart guy - I've seen his LinkedIn page (Dartmouth undergrad and U of Chicago MBA) ... you can take his word for it. Location!!! There are so many vacation rentals in Manzanita that would DRIVE ME NUTS with their crappy locations. NO WAY would I want to walk into town ... especially with kids. The distance and the hills ... not good. We are a 90 second walk to the shops on Laneda Avenue then just a short stroll down to the beach. It's perfect ... as Shawn says, "great location"

No surprises (as in negative) … I’ll take that everyday when I stay at a vacation rental. We (me) only run two units … communication will always be prompt and efficient. I read horror stories when travelers book with a larger company … if you have questions or concerns upon check in … you might not hear back until it’s too late or you already solved the problem.

There we go - noice and simple. Thanks, Jackie. Location is key ... know where your rental is located before booking. We're a 90 second walk to the shops on Laneda Avenue then just a short stroll down to the beach. KEY WITH KIDS. Tons of rentals south of town are a HIKE to downtown or you have to hop in the car and park - no thanks. Or if you're on the north side of town you have some STEEP HILLS to deal with - again not ideal. And we're tucked away on a quiet street with a private backyard ... where forest meets ocean ~ it's beautiful here. 3ONE8 Manzanita @manzanitabeachrentals

We loved our 3 night stay. We had everything we needed - even dog bowls for our pups. It was a little bit hot until we opened the windows and got the fans going, but overall an amazing stay!

Keeley and her family were great guests. They came down from Seattle and arrived around 8 pm. The unit was ready by 2 pm so yes, it got a little toasty in there as we had a bit of heat wave in the PNW. But with two tower fans, a large desk fan and the air purifiers ... open a few windows, get the the fans going and it sorts itself out in no time. First world problems on the Oregon coast! ; ) Overall ... amazing ... we'll take it!

Such a delightful surprise! The house was so tastefully done and equipped with pretty much anything a guest could ask for. The owner was very accessible and so helpful with any questions….including what kind of wood floors he installed as I loved them! I’ve always loved Manzanita and over the years rented such a wonderful variety of homes. This one tops my list!

As you know by now we're literally a 90 second flat walk to the shops on Laneda Ave (tucked away on a quiet street) then just a short stroll down to the beach. Know where your vacation rental is located! Not all of them north or south of the main village are really walkable into town which is bogus. We love the fact we can walk out the front door and be at Manzanita News & Espresso and YOLK breakfast/lunch spot in 4 minutes or less, 4-5 minutes for groceries at The Little Apple or dinner at the San Dune Pub in 6+ minutes tops. All flat and easily walkable for any age ... no huge hills to climb which is common north of the village. And CLEAN ... Chelle is correct ... we do not do grime, cobwebs, gack, dusty lamps, dirty pots or utensils ... you get the idea.

Another great visit

This place is as advertised; clean, cozy, comfortable and everything you need in a short-term vacation rental. The location is the best … we park our car and walk to the shops in the village which takes about one minute.

I'm a Portland based professional who first came to Manzanita in the late 90's. We checked out a lot of Oregon coast towns and immediatley came back to the village of Manzanita. It's the perfect size and when an opportunity presented itself to invest in a vacation rental in Manzanita - we did it. After an extensive remodel, we're ready to share 3ONE8 with people that like high end finishes, modern ammenaties and casual surroundings. Me? I love to travel myself - did an around the world trip a few years ago. This selfie was a cool, little island in Thailand. Visited Australia, did the Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal, hung in U.A.E. for a bit, 2.5 weeks island hopping on the Dalmatian coast in Croatia, a weekend in Frankfurt and finished off doing a week on Harbor Island in the Bahamas. Currently I'm self-employed managing our two vacation rental properties in Manzanita and love doing it!

Why they chose this property

The vision of the 3ONE8 remodel (interior layout designed by TVA Architects of Portland, OR) was to create a hip and fresh place for our rental guests, family and friends to enjoy in our favorite coastal town, Manzanita. We stayed at probably 20 different short term Manzanita rentals in 'the pool' over the years. It's a crap shoot out there. It's hard to find either brand new structures or remodels and how did the remodels turn out and what kind of furnishings are you experiencing? No oak furniture, no seagull art work or brass lighting. I love my great aunt but I wouldn't put her in charge of decorating my vacation home - and that's what we see in a lot of the rental choices out there today.

Why Manzanita? Cannon Beach is popular with a great beach - and it has a lot a big hotels, some chain restaurants and businesses and not very quaint. Manzanita is just 12 miles south and is considered more of a quaint village that's less crowded yet featuring full amenities found on Laneda Avenue including; boutique shops, restaurants, coffee houses, grocery stores, spas, cafes, wine bars and more - all locally owned and operated. Where Laneda Ave. meets the ocean is an uninterrupted, dog friendly seven mile beach with awesome views of Neahkahnie Mountain to the north. Once you park your car at 3ONE8 Manzanita - everything is walkable! Other towns: Seaside, OR is great if you like strip malls, Rockaway Beach is terrific if you like kitchsky shops on busy Highway 101 and Arch Cape is quaint but lacks any type of services. Manzanita has much more of a chill vibe - more of a locals spot with less people and crowds - yet with full services. Of course we're biased - but we did our research over 20 years ago! We visited every coastal town from Astoria down to Newport over a five year period - and liked Manzanita the best for its charm, beauty, size, services, proximity to PDX and overall vibe and feel. What makes this property unique

3ONE8 is great as it's 1.5 blocks to Laneda Avenue (the main strip) with plenty of shops, coffee houses, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and more. And it's a straight shot to the beach. Additionally, the verdant views out the back onto the 6th green at Manzanita Links golf course are beautiful and very private. There are no neighbors behind you and the private back yard is a great retreat. The property is one half of a duplex (other side is our 5 star 30 day rental called 3THREE8 Manzanita - during the studs out remodels we installed Quiet Rock on the common wall - you won’t hear a peep) and your side is very private. And for the kids it's a few minutes walk to the City Park. And, S 4th Place is very quiet with little car traffic - and on windy days down on the beach we're in our own micro-climate that's well protected. Close in yet removed. It's perfect!
