Bright, airy, spacious yet cozy. This 3000 square foot home was originally a Nunnery that was built in 1900 and meticulously restored In 2010. Just a hop, skip and a jump to all of St. Augustine's downtown attractions and did we mention there is a pool? You and your fellow travelers will have a grand time cooking, relaxing, swimming and escaping from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet shopping, restaurants and beach... All within reach!

Long Time Friends

Extremely nice accommodations and just as described. Location was convenient to all of the tourist sites and very walkable. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Just Book It and Enjoy!

This is an incredible house in a great neighborhood! The house has so much space with an open floor plan and relaxing flow. The beds are very comfortable, there is everything you'll ever need and the pool is so warm. Just down the street you'll enjoy coffee and fresh baked goods at the Coffee House or Juniper Market. A couple blocks up you'll find cute shops, Borrillo's pizza and Scoop's ice cream shop. Everyone in the neighborhood says good morning or hello as you walk by. Walk down San Marcos to St. George St within 7 mins or so and eat your way through the beautiful city. My kids are 9 and 10 and said it was the best vacation ever! I'd stay here again and hope it's sooner rather tban later. Thanks to the hosts for excellent communication and for sharing this special vacation home!

Beautiful home in a perfect location

The home is beautiful and very spacious. The best part is that you can walk to the historical district, with a selection of coffee shops along the way. The only days we got in our car to drive was to go to the golf tournament (TPC Sawgrass) and to go to the beach, which is only a hop, skip and jump over the bridge. I have stayed in this home twice and may go back for a 3rd time!

Annual Spring Trip - WSP

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The only reason I gave the 4 stars for Accuracy of Online Listing is because the pictures do not do this expansive home justice! The 'great room' area was lovely. Your library is impressive as well!Our group enjoyed cooking, lounging, swimming and the short walk into the historic district. The owners where great with quick communication, check-in was a breeze as was our check-out process.Thank you again for making our trip extra special with your lovely home!

Wonderful experience! Great location and wonderful house! My kids really enjoyed the toys—our 7 year old built the trolly loop out of jenga bricks and Lincoln Logs!

Comfortable and enjoyable stay

Quite neighborhood. The home is very spacious and open but with plenty of privacy from other guest who are with you. Pool was clean and we had a great time. Awesome kitchen! We absolutely had Wonderful time together at this home. It’s also within walking distance to downtown. Highly recommend this property.

Storm Vacation

We arrived a day ahead of storm and had rain for first few days but still had a great time. House is well equipped and very large. Had plenty of space for our party of 6. Contacted the host a couple of times and they were quick to respond. Loved the house and location. Pool was great but would be nice to have some pool chairs for sitting in sun.

Great stay and location!

Can’t find a better location. The house was roomy and had everything we needed. Nobody was climbing over each other. The pool was a fantastic. Directions on everything were clear. Easy off street parking. You need to consider this location. Note: there was no treadmill as shown in the pictures during our stay, but frankly, you want to walk, just head down town ( 10 min walk max) and you’ll do 3-5 miles easily.

Beautiful home

This house was practically perfect. There were 6 in our group and everyone had their space. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed so cooking a few meals was easy. My 4 year old LOVED the novelty of the bunk beds, though he wasn't sure about sleeping in the top bunk. And the kids books offered a new selection for our nightly reading. The pool area was nice and relaxing, even on hot days and the pool was crystal clear and satisfied our daily swimming needs. The location was actually better than anticipated. In a quiet neighborhood, it is within walking distance to downtown and I don't think we drove more than 15 minutes for anything we did. David was very responsive to any questions we had and offered great recommendations for the area. Honestly, I don't think there was a single negative part of our rental experience. 10/10 would rent again.

Great stay walking distance to downtown St. Augustine

We enjoyed this property very much. It was larger than it appeared in the pictures. There was plenty of beds and baths for our group including a pack and play for our infant. Our toddler loved the front playroom (total bonus) and lots of kids books to peruse at bedtime. The outdoor pool area was awesome, and the pool felt very warm. The kitchen was well-equipped although we did not do much cooking. It was about a 10 minute walk downtown, which we did several times a day (it sure beat paying for downtown parking). It was a convenient few minutes drive to a grocery store and nearby Vilano beach and Anastasia island. Our host gave us some great recommendations for nearby restaurants and we're very responsive (although we had no problems with the property). We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location, family friendly!

We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. I traveled with 2 small children (3 and 12 months) and 4 other adults. The home was immaculate and well stocked with everything you would need (TP, paper towels, bowls, grill supplies, etc). I requested a pack and play for the baby and the hosts were kind enough to also set out a high chair! :) There was also some toys and TONS of books for kids and adults alike. The pool was perfect temperature wise and very clean. The location is amazing- walkable to the historic district the castle, as well as nearby a small shopping area with some stores, coffee shops, and dessert options. Amazingly comfortable beds and pillows (I had to ask the host for the brands so we could get some!) Responsive hosts for any questions we had. We will be back to visit again!

Great visit

We had an excellent visit to St Augustine. The home has good character and offers many comforts. There are high ceilings, a nicely appointed kitchen with an open floor plan, and plenty of bathrooms, books, and reading spots. It was centrally located, allowing us to walk to most places including shops, restaurants, and historical sites. We minimally used our rental car. The neighborhood is soft, quiet, and full of beautiful vegetation. We loved the heated pool. We would gladly stay again if we were to visit in the future.

Perfect Property

This is our second time staying in this home, and the property never disappoints. Home has everything you need, and plenty of the essentials. Love the open floor plan, comfortable seating and beds. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to everything in old town Saint Augustine. Perfect place to stay when visiting this lovely historic town.

Great house/ Great location

The house is bigger than it looks in pictures. Was a great space for us and our adult children. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to downtown St Augustine. Family reunion

Property was perfect. We had plenty of space to spread out or places to converse together. The pool was a bonus. Little issue with ac in one of the bedrooms but got it figured out with help of David. Communication was prompt whenever we had a question. Owner was upfront about parking- we had three cars and that was all that would fit. We really didn’t drive much once we got there- we walked all over the historic district which was very close by. Neighborhood nice and quiet.

Amazing home

This home is definitely bigger than it looks from the outside amazing location fully stocked kitchen plus amazing layout for families to gather great communication with property managers. We will definitely be back next time.

A true gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It was so unique and quaint! The modernizations that were made without compromising the history of the home were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked and the center island was our favorite place to mingle as a family. The breakfast nook was perfect for sipping coffee and enjoying the garden in the morning. The pool was our favorite afternoon activity as a family. Especially during the hot summer temperatures! The location to downtown St Augustine made it so easy to walk to St George Street and the sites of the downtown historic district. We would highly recommend this property to anyone heading to St Augustine! We will definitely be returning!

Friends Gathering

The Plantation House was a great home for us. We were a group of 7 senior adults from different parts of the US. The house was within walking distance of the Old Town of St. Augustine. It was equipped with everything you might need. It was lovely to sit outside in the morning and drink our coffee and catch up with each other. Although the weather was colder than we expected, we still enjoyed the pool. The open concept living room, dining room and kitchen, was great. It made being together as a group easy. Except for going to the grocery store and out to dinner, we walked everywhere. The two washers and two dryers were very helpful as there were 7 of us. David and Jenna were amazing hosts. They were quick to reply to any questions I had. They were also most helpful in giving us a list of places to visit, eat and where to get essentials. We would highly recommend the Plantation house.
