Spacious, first floor villa is all on one level. This villa was fully renovated in 2020 including all new flooring throughout, updated both bathrooms and kitchen countertops and cabinets. The unit has a king bed and private bath in the master and two twin beds in the guest bedroom with a full bath in the hall. Additional features include a sleeper sofa in the living area, eat-in-kitchen, dining area, back patio with golf view and extensive closet space.
There are 3 televisions in the unit, one in the living room and one in each bedroom. The living room HDTV is 32". DVD players and VCR's are also provided. Secure wireless internet. The villa is located in the popular Evian complex in Shipyard with its beautifully maintained grounds, extensive walking trails, lagoons and fountains. Evian also offers a beautiful on-site pool, tennis and pickleball courts.

Delightful July 4th week!

It was awesome to be back on HHI after too many years away! We have family who owned villa in Shipyard in early 2000’s and became very familiar with Evian and the whole Coligny area. Now that our children are grown we appreciated hearing their memories of the pool, the beach at Sonesta and “Charlie the alligator” lurking in the pond on the golf course behind villa watching us fish there! It was great to be with family celebrating America’s 248th birthday with legendary Gregg Russell and all at Sea Pines

Overall, great but few updates needed

Overall, the condo was wonderful and comfortable and met our needs. There's 5 beach chairs in the front closet that can be used. Pool is 5 minute walking distance away. Shipyard is a nice resort and we have always enjoyed staying there with great walking trails and a safe environment. However, the main bath ceiling has black mold on it and needs to be addressed. Also, the outside patio furniture is very weathered and looks dirty; It should be considered to be replaced. The inside furniture was fine and comfortable. Cooked breakfast and lunches in the condo and plenty of kitchen supplies. (utensils, cookware, plates, glasses, etc). In using the wash machine, recommend using NORMAL setting as Permanent Press has issues in RINSE mode.

What’s not to like being in HHI?

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The description of the condo is spot on. We liked that it was close to Caligney as well. The only thing I would change is the explanation where Shipyard’s beach was. We needed to ask security if there was a beach in the plantation & where it was located. The first day we were there we walked all the way down to the public beach.

Great Location and better than pictures

This is a very nice little home located in the heart of the Island and very close to everything. The pictures don't do justice to the home, which we felt was much nicer and brighter. There are some older parts (dishwasher, kitchen appliances, etc) but functional. Safe and clean. We were very pleased with our stay.

Everything we needed but I thought the second bedroom was an actual room but it was a loft so not a lot of privacy when I had to get up and work each morning.

No hair dryers!!

Overall we enjoyed our trip but surprised to find that this condo doesn't equipped with hair-dyers. Almost all hotels and vacation home rentals I've been to have at least one hair-dryer. So during the vacation, I had to run around to find a hair dryer which is ridiculous. Other things they could kindly provide to guests are: salt and pepper, dish detergents.
