This house was perfect for us to celebrate our 41st annual Bogey Retreat at Rumbling Bald. As a party of 8 golfers, the house was great for us to relax, cook and enjoy a drink or two after our day on the course. We enjoyed a new experience cooking on the Blackstone grill. The property manager was very prompt with replies to questions we had which made for a great stay. I would definitely go back to his house again.

Beautiful house. Well stocked kitchen. Sharp knives…wonderful spice rack. Foam mattresses need updating. Saw a few bears, slightly terrifying but also really cool. Resort amenities are a short drive away.

Very nice and large house, lots of room for everyone, very helpful host. Resort activities were terrific. Renting a pontoon boat to see the lake is a must. We rented golf carts which I highly recommend. My only suggestion is the gas stove top needs to be upgraded like the rest of the kitchen. Also, beware we saw several bears including one that came up to the house.

The kids especially loved the game room! And, the hot tub was a hit with everyone! The kitchen is huge and there is enough seating for a large group. We also enjoyed the amenities at the Rumbling Bald Resort. Our family loves the North Carolina mountains and the beautiful Lake Lure area and we hope to return soon!

We booked this property for our stay when our daughter got married. It was wonderful! The property gave everyone their own space but also allowed plenty of space to hang out. The house was immaculately clean and provided all necessities needed, plus some extras like kitchen spices, plenty of hand soap, trash bags, body wash, etc. This property made our celebration at Rumbling Bald that much more special. Check in and out was super easy and the property managers were excellent in their communication. We hope to stay here again in the future.

A wonderful vacation home for our big family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at this spacious and comfortable home for a week. All 14 of us and the dog had plenty of room and we loved being able to gather to watch the FIFA World Cup. The bonus/game room let the kids hang out while the adults cooked and hung out. The kitchen and eating area is great for a large crowd. Lake Lure and the Rumbling Bald Amentities kept us busy all week. We golfed, went swimming, fished, played pickle ball, cornhole and toured the beautiful lake.

Great reunion spot

A great stay in Rumbling Bald. The house was perfect for our four couples as everyone had their own king bed and private bath. MAY be the best equipped Vrbo house at which we've ever stayed. Private location and plenty to do. Communication was terrific. We will come back!
