We stayed here for 3 months and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for access to hiking trails but still close enough to the city. There's beautiful sunrises from the front porch and lots of birds.
Liz and Will are great at communication and the house is well stocked with anything and everything you could need during your stay

Thank you for staying at Apple Blossom and for the great review! We want everyone to feel at home at Apple Blossom and enjoy their visit to the Asheville area. Thank you for leaving the place amazingly clean. We look forward to hearing from you again. Have a wonderful summer!
We stayed here as a group of 4, (2 couples) and had a wonderful time!! The space was comfortable, clean and felt very homey. The hosts were great, the AC stopped working on our second day (which happened to be a Sunday) and they were on top of it! Stopped by to check and see if they could fix it and when they couldn't, they had people come out the next day and got it all fixed. It had great views from the back porch, kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. It's about a 20-30 min drive from Asheville and the area is beautiful.

Home Away from Home
Everything was perfect ... welcoming, spotlessly clean, quiet, well-equipped and comfortable without being "fussy." Would highly recommend. Thank you, Liz. Hope to do it again sometime. Susan

Thank you for all your wonderful comments about Apple Blossom! It was a pleasure to meet both of you and have you as our guests. We hope you will be one of our many returning guests.
We stayed here for a couple weeks while we were in the area on business. The owners could not have been more accommodating and the property was fantastic. After long days of work, it was wonderful to retreat to this house, relax on the porch and watch the cows on the adjacent farm. We even bought some carrots to feed them as they would come right up to the fence.
The house was well-appointed and very comfortable. All of the little things (coffee filters, salt / pepper, dishwashing supplies, laundry supplies, etc.) were already there and added to the convenience of the stay.
Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy this little slice of heaven. We look forward to returning next year when the second phase of our project is scheduled!
Generally quiet place with a moderately firm queen-sized bed. I did not use the other bed or bathroom. Kitchen nice and well stocked. Owner, Liz friendly and helpful. Interesting area, somewhat rural but close by getting to Asheville. The back drive down Mt. Piscah is quite an experience---do it if you have strong nerves----but has amazing sites----particualry when you get to that part of Blue Ridge Pkwy.----where in pullovers you can see vista of many miles out!
I was there for a work assignment and it was perfect. Quite and peaceful. Everything I needed to make a second home for three months with space for family to visit. Bill and Liz were great hosts. I hate I didn’t get to meet them. But I will hopefully be back again.
The property is in a beautiful spot that offers a relaxing experience tucked away in the mountains, but still close enough to Asheville to explore what the city has to offer. Liz and Bill were fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay and had all I needed for my time at apple blossom.
The house was very comfy and felt like home away from home.
Everything was well stocked and very clean. Hope to return at some point . Still need to see the Biltmore Estate. Waited too long to book and it sold out. Maybe next time.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Apple Blossom! We hope you will be able to visit again!! Thank you for leaving everything so nice!
We really enjoyed our stay. The setting is great, large variety of birds and other wildlife to watch from the back deck. Conveniently located to access the Blue Ridge Parkway. Apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
Anything you need is included. Liz thought of everything. Liz was extremely friendly.
If you plan to eat to Pisgah Inn (wonderful view!), make reservation at least a week ahead of time! Ask for a window table.
The setting of the duplex is very beautiful with a view of mountains, a barn and grazing cows. The location close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway was perfect for us. The duplex was very clean and had everything we needed. The property owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
The place was nice and clean. And the renters were wonderful. They were so easy to work with.

Disliked: Location
Clean and very well stocked for your everyday needs.
We were surprised to learn that this property was a duplex. Listing indicates apartment. May need to change the description. The view of the mountains surrounding the property were beautiful. We ended up going to Gatlinburg 3 times for activities.
I rented for a month and appreciated the quiet surroundings and enjoyed the ability to see many stars on several clear nights. Well equipped and very satisfactory for an extended stay and the second room allowed for semi-local family to come stay to maximize the visit.
The location is a bit remote but still very doable for trips up to the Parkway or into town. The owners were very helpful.
Would recommend.
This is a delightful cozy duplex, surrounded by picturesque fields and mountains, with fireflies and cows ( that had their new babies when we were there !!), and a rustic barn to complete the picture. The neighbors were very nice and we enjoyed our few chats, and at same time very respectful of privacy. The hosts are very kind and conscientious, and quick to help when needed.
Thank you so much Liz and Bill, and may God bless you both!

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Apple Blossom! We hope you will be able to visit again!!
The unit was as advertised. Perfect for a couple or three persons. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. The location is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgha Mountain. We really appreciated the quiet and secluded location. Very convenient to Asheville and surrounding area. The unit is clean and comfortable. The owners take great care to insure a great stay. Everything is supplied for a great vacation. We would recommend this place and would definitely return.
Wonderful little cottage. Clean, very well-stocked with linens, plates, napkins, cookware, and even a crib! An easy drive to Asheville & hiking. I was confused at first that it's 1 unit as part of a duplex but we hardly noticed our neighbor! Enjoyed quiet mornings watching the cows. Hope to stay again!!
Apple Blossom was such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay with our two young children. The mountain views were breathtaking and we loved watching cows by day and fireflies at night. The house was very well stocked with everything from kitchen supplies to children’s books. The location is perfect for those that don’t want to stay in the city and want quick drives to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah Forest. We could not have asked for kinder hosts.

Perfect for a weekend hiking getaway
We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, and the scenery was picturesque (even better than the photos!) It’s also located in a good spot—quiet, rural, and surrounded by mountains, but also less than 30 minutes from Asheville. There’s a great little restaurant six miles up the road along Highway 151 where we had breakfast a couple times. We would definitely come back!
