Cute Galena Stay

Our family with two young kids had a great stay. The house is located right in the town so only a couple blocks to restaurants and coffee and shops. The house was very clean and cute, authentic to the town. Parking was so convenient. Highly recommend!

Location Location!

This home is old, quirky and charming in a perfect location. Steps (without climbing steps) from downtown shops and restaurants. Wonderful front porch and back deck/yard. Be aware your parking spot is on Bench Street with several steps down to house. We have stayed here several times and intend to come back.

The house was super cute and cozy and definitely lived up to it's "Nautical" name with the decor. The house is perfectly located right next to downtown and you have parking, couldn't ask for much more. The house had everything you need to get situated, TP, kitchen utensils, etc. Check-in and Check-out was super easy, almost seamless. We would highly recommend and definitely stay again!

Great Galena Girls’ Getaway February 2023

My friend and I had a marvelous stay. The property is at the south end of Main Street - all walkable to the shops and eateries. Due to the recent snow, we parked out front - and had no problem doing so, Street parking is limited to 3-hour windows during the day (7 days a week) - but at least during out stay, we did not see this checked. Both bedrooms and the 1-1/2 bathrooms are upstairs - beds were comfortable. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.

Vintage charm

It was a wonderful stay. A short walk to all the restaurants! Great views of galena. Just need a little upgrade in the beds, but other than that it was clean and cozy! We definitely will stay there again!!!!!

Perfect Spot to Walk the Town

The property has a lot of charm and was just the right size. It was very clean, and with being on Main Street it was only a short walk to the start of the shops (and cool how it’s right next to the gates). The only improvement is with directions for parking. My group got confused as to which Presbyterian church we needed to look out for in order to find the right lot (Maps only showed 1 church that was labeled as such but it wasn’t the right one, and there’s several churches on the same street for many blocks). Even a local who tried helping was confused. Overall though, this was perfect for our stay and will definitely consider booking again!
