Excellent location. No stairs to climb. Drop your luggage at the door. Open the door and your jaw will drop. You are literally on the beach. You’ll never want to leave your lanai. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen, big shower. Friendly staff and neighbors, after all you’re on the beach in Kauai, what’s not to be happy about. Enjoyed our stay. Hope to return soon.

View is amazing! Clean and relaxing property. It does get a little hot during afternoons but fans help cool down the space. There is lots of foot traffic on the beach in front and the ocean is very loud inside. Great space for someone who loves the beach but maybe doesn’t want to be on the actual beach all the time.

Loved our stay here. It's an AAAAA HAAAA moment when you open the front door to a beautiful view staright ahead of the ocean in all of it's glory. Host & management were great & we had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Very comfortable bed & all the linens we needed. The lanai was our favorite spot to sit & enjoy the ever changing skies & ocean views & even came with a double rainbow. Parking easy too. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The condo was amazing; the patio is right on the beach, and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves every night. It was also nice to have a clothes washer & dryer. We had a great experience.

Fantastic location right on the beach! Kiahuna Plantation is the perfect location for all the south shore has to offer. Loved the Poipu Beach Club across the street. Work out space is awesome, with its open air facilities. Pool and Cabana Bar with food and drinks!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this property. First off, the host, Monique, is so kind, responsive and accommodating. The unit itself is a slice of paradise right on the sand with stunning views and sunsets. Kiahuna beach is steps away with great swimming and surfing. We also had great snorkeling along a reef just outside the unit next to the Koa Kea hotel. The location is ideal and able to walk to various hotels and Poipu beach park where we swam next to turtles and saw monk seals. Quick drive to many other shops, restaurants and markets. The unit is furnished beautifully with a nice kitchen with everything we needed. The washer dryer came in handy throughout. We slept well in the comfortable bed to the sound of the waves. It was a dream.

There was a little bit of hair left in the room after the cleaning so that could’ve been done a little bit better. But overall, it was really nice. The biggest drawback was the fact that the beach access close to the villa was closed for repairs so I had to walk quite a far away on the beach to get to the little beach in front of the villa. That was a little bit harder for me. Also something that surprised us a little bit was that the people from other resorts were constantly coming in front of our villa on the beach and setting up umbrellas. I would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay here again because of the proximity to the ocean and the resort property which was amazing.

Absolutely spectacular views from this unit. Directly on sandy beach. The only downside would be that the sound of waves might keep you awake (haha). The sunrises and sunsets are stunning. The unit is well-stocked and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We feel so lucky to have stayed in this beautiful beachfront rental! A few things that pleasantly surprised us: the vaulted ceilings make the space feel much larger and more open than we expected. The pull-out sofa bed is also surprisingly spacious and comfortably sleeps two people.The newer washer and dryer have large-capacity drums, which made doing laundry so much easier during our stay. We also loved the oversized refrigerator, which made it convenient to stock up on groceries and prepare meals at home.The view is absolutely breathtaking, and you truly can’t get any closer to the beach. One of our favorite features was being located right next to the oceanfront walking path in Poipu. It was so nice to step outside and enjoy a scenic walk along the coastline each evening to watch the sunset and admire the turtles sleeping in the beach. This was the perfect place to relax, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful stay. Right on the Kiahuna Beach and short walk to Poipu. Could spend all day watching the surfers surf and waves crash from lanai. Well-supplied kitchen. Comfy bed.

We have stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation for the past 22 years and this was the first time where we had no kids or extended family with us. Super relaxing and we will always cherish. This particular condo was a treat!

Beautiful property right on the beach. You can't get any closer. Well stocked kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Listening to the ocean all night-priceless. I had a few questions and they were answered promptly.

The unit location on the beach was gorgeous. We had a couple of fix-it requests that were handled immediately and without problems. The on-site staff were wonderful. The owner was very helpful and timely with email replies. Our only improvement suggestion is to include a couple of light weight folding chairs to use on the beach in front of the unit. Otherwise the unit includes everything needed for a relaxing 2 week stay.

You cannot get any closer to the beautiful Kauai ocean as this condo is right on the beach. From the lanai you'll see rainbows, sunsets, surfers and wildlife. We had a monk seal that parked itself on the sand right below the lanai and a sea turtle that hauled out for a nights rest. The Kiahuna Plantation offers impeccably manicured grounds and the focal point of the property is the "great lawn" that is goes right up to the beach. Access to the calm water from the provided chaise lounges is as easy as it gets. And this condo is only steps away from this spectacular oceanfront setting.Now, if you are sensitive to noise , the sounds of the surf are consistent and noticeable and if you prefer total privacy, there is a lot of activity (walkers, surfers, sunbathers, families) on the beach that the condo overlooks. We found the surf sounds were soothing and the beach activity not too intrusive.If you plan to visit beaches other than the one right in front of Kiahuna Plantation, consider renting portable beach chairs and an umbrella for your stay as these items are not provided with the rental.You will find the kitchen well outfitted with all the implements you'll need for meal preparation and blending tropical drinks for the evening sunsets you can enjoy from the lanai. We found the host to be very responsive to our inquiries we made prior to booking and prior to our arrival. All in all, this is a wonderful place to experience all that beautiful Kauai has to offer.

Amazing location, pictures are accurate. The ocean is loud, but we liked it. Comfy rooms, well equipped kitchen. FYI - there are people who will hang out right in front of the deck, and can be kinda loud. So, it’s not the most private spot. Also major FYI - there is a resort fee of 50/day, regardless of VRBO’s wording of ‘all fees included- no hidden fees’

Owners have no control over VRBO's "all fees included no hidden fees" as owners are asked to address resort/cleaning fees in their description. VRBO is saying there are no other fees than what the owner describes.

Absolutely amazing rental! Could not have asked for a better place for our first stay in Kauai. The view, as soon as you walk in the door, was absolutely breathtaking. I loved sitting on the lanai each morning to enjoy my coffee with the ocean. Will definitely be staying here again.

Best location in Kiahuna Plantation! You can’t get closer to the water without being on a boat. Perfect sandy beach directly in front of condo that is mostly protected from the bigger surf. If you like the sound of the ocean, this is the condo for you.
