Lae Nani 535 - Spectacular Beach Front - Quiet and Private with Bedroom AC & WD

Welcome to our beach front home on the Island of Kauai!

Lae Nani is a beautiful resort located on the east side of Kauai, just south of Kapaa. Our location gives you easy access to the North Shore (Napali Coast) and South Shore (Poipu, Waimea Canyon) and there are lots of food options (restaurants) and shops within walking distance. Grocery stores and other restaurants are within a 5 to 10 minute drive (or a long walk).

This is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom completely renovated condo on the top floor of a 3-story walk-up building. Our location provides privacy from the other units and makes you feel like you are in your own world. This is one of the few units in this complex with Air Conditioning (bedrooms only).

The master bedroom has a lanai (balcony) and faces the ocean, so you can't get any closer to the sound or view of the ocean. The second bedroom can be made up as two twin beds or one king.

There is a large lanai off the living room with lounge chairs and an outdoor table. The location of the condo means we watch the morning sun rise over the ocean with an amazing 180 degree view. The two Lanais have sun from sunrise until the very late afternoon but the trade winds and a selection of fans maintain comfortable temperatures indoors with air conditioning in the bedrooms to make sure you can sleep well. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you should you want to cook your meals at home.

We welcome families, providing lots of games and baby accessories including a portable crib and stroller. There is a large grassy area right out front and the sand is only about 75 feet away where there is a keiki (children's) pool, perfect for little ones to safely explore the ocean. There is a heated pool for use by all Lae Nani guests and we have a closet with beach gear that you are most welcome to use.

We provide free high speed wireless internet and there is television in the living room with cable, which you can also use to access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. There is a set of blue tooth speakers you can connect to with your smart phone for music. We have keyless entry into the condo so you don't need to worry about losing a key. Parking is free and secured.

We welcome you as our guests and hope that you will make our condo your home away from home during your visit to the beautiful Garden Island of Kauai.

Please note that this property is in the specially zoned Kauai Vacation Destination Area which specifically provides for vacation rentals and it is operating in compliance with Hawaii's Transient Vacation Rental Laws.

Great location in Kapaa within walking distance of Coconut Market as well as several dining options. View was incredible with beach access within a few steps of the condo. Beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler were very useful for beach days. AC in bedrooms was nice to escape the heat, main living areas do get warm but manageable. Overall would recommend.

This place was beyond expectations. The condo has the best views in the entire complex. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The beach in front was great for snorkeling and relaxing. The unit is stocked with everything you’d need for the beach…chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment, water shoes and coolers!!!The location is ideal. It is centrally located on the island so travel to the activities north and south is a breeze. In addition, it is steps from the shops at Coconut Market and Lava Lava Restaurant (highly recommended.) The beautiful bike path, which is 7 miles (one way) along the ocean starts down the street. As for the hosts, they were amazing. They gave great recommendations for dinners and activities and answered every text within minutes. Book this place! You won’t regret it.

Such a lovely property! Gorgeous views, impeccable landscaping, beautifully decorated home. And so many details! Everything you need to have fun and relax including beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, children’s toys, etc. We didn’t use the tennis court but we really enjoyed the pool as well as the jewel of a beach. Wonderful Condo

We had a delightful stay! A beautifully finished condo on the third floor with excellent ocean views and great beach right out front. The sounds of the ocean waves lulled us to sleep every night. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the beach there and eating at the Lava Lava Beach Club right next door. Kapaa is a great location to get to the north and south side of Kauai- as well as being a cute town. Would recommend and happily stay again.

Wish this was our home!

I don't think it is possible for us to find a nicer place. From the location and the views to the amenities and graciousness of our hosts, this place is absolutely perfect for our family. So many places to eat, drink and shop that are within walking distance. The condo itself is like a second home to us. We have everything that you could possibly need and to wake up to those sunrises is like waking up from a dream. Can't wait to come back.

Slice of heaven!

This condo was absolutely everything we wanted. The view of the ocean right off our lanai’s were breathtaking, while the ocean waves lulled us to sleep each night. This location is also positioned well to go to the North Shore or head down to the South Shore. Shannon & Wendell were very responsive when we had any questions regarding our upcoming visit, & provided great insight on things to do and see in the area. Family and friends trip

We really enjoyed our trip to Kauai. This complex is great with its location and access to beach. We had 4 families and everyone rented a place in the complex. Teens had a great time. They could walk for shaved ice or be in the pool or ocean or go shop. Our unit was amazing with great views. My husband could just sit In the balcony and work. The owners are super nice and responsive. We will rent this again for sure.

Amazing views

We were amazed by the views of this condo. Very clean n maintained condo. The owners did text us when we landed about possibly electrical plug issue in bathrooms and offered the maintenance guy to come. We did notice the bathrooms electric plugs were both tripped but my hubby was able to reset them and no need for maintenance. We loved it. The only suggestion I would make is extra shelves in the bathroom as there is no counter space especially in the master bath, that could have been the reason of the electric issue with the prior guest. We will be back. Kauai was amazing. Must do is natalie coast tour with snorkeling, canyon tour and the sugar plantation tunnel float.

Can't imagine a nicer place on the East side of Kauai

Summary - Would definitely stay again. We were very satisfied with this lovely home on the East side of Kauai. It was clean, nicely decorated, with tons of amenities, and best of all, it was right on the beach! The hosts were super responsive to any of our questions. Location - On the East side of Kauai, just south of Kapa'a town. This makes it easy to hop into town for food, drink, or what have you. It's also a short drive from the airport (no noise from it though), which means you can start enjoying the unit ASAP. This location also makes it easy to access any of the other sides of the island. Furthermore, the unit is right on the beach (I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves). The beach is rather small though, with rather large waves while we were there (more for looking/listening than swimming), but there is a small "kiddie pool" type beach that's blocked from the waves with a low wall of rocks that seems safe for the little ones. Unit - The place was nicely decorated, clean, and had all the amenities you could want from home (fully stocked kitchen, books, in-unit washer/dryer, etc). One bedroom faces the ocean. The other bedroom faces the interior gardens/walkways. Everything was quiet, calm, and both bedrooms were kept cool by a combo of trade winds and fans (a superior substitute for a/c, which the unit doesn't have anyways). There are also two balconies; one from the living room, one from the ocean-facing bedroom. Beds were SUPER COMFORTABLE. The hosts - Shannon and Wendell were very quick to respond to any questions we had. They work with a local lady, should you need anything from her. I wish all hosts could be as pleasant to interact with as them. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

Magical condo. Perfect Kapaa location. You can’t get closer to the water. The view is unsullied by other resort structures. At night with the 2 lanais the ocean is all encompassing. The nocturnal shearwater birds with their plaintive cries as they navigate by the stars is exhilarating. Out of respect to these seafarers the beach is not lit up which makes sitting on the lanai a spectacle. The big dipper what a swag lamp instead. The furniture is vintage Hawaii which I usually don’t care for but found myself admiring 4 fine pieces of art. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. I made great pizza if I do say so myself. Shannon was patient and kind. I am not the easiest person:) All to say I am grateful for their aloha. Not just the incredible value of such a property and what they charge, but for their spirit for making it all available. I won’t ever forget what I witnessed, the awe and beauty

The unit is owned by Shannon and Wendell Meeres. We are truly beach people and love to spend time at this amazing location. Wendell is an avid kiteboarder, wing foiler and SUP surfer who has found a few secret spots to ride from on Kauai. Shannon is always on the look out for interesting travel opportunities around the world.

Why they chose this property

We looked all over Hawaii for properties and fell in love with Kauai. After looking at a number of properties on Kauai, we walked into Lae Nani 535 and stood dumbfounded by the view. We purchased the property from the original owners who were friends of the developer and who advised them to purchase this specific unit on the basis that it had the best views and the most privacy of any unit in the complex.

What makes this property unique

The East side of Kauai (also known as the Coconut Coast) is unsurpassed in location and access to the rest of the island. The weather here is in between the wet zone (North Shore) and the dry zone (South Shore). Our unit is unique in that both the master bedroom and the living room directly face the ocean and the feeling of privacy from the other units is unsurpassed. The previous owners completed an extensive renovation and we will continue to update and maintain our unit, striving to create a Hawaiian feel with original artwork and restored local furniture.

After touring much of Hawaii, we believe that Lae Nani captures the true Hawaii feel which is represented by the beautiful beach, the lush gardens and the sound of the surf. This particular complex is very peaceful yet is just steps to restaurants, shopping and easy access to both the North Shore and the South Shore. One of the few casual beach bars/restaurants on the Island is the Lava Lava which is a one minute walk from Lae Nani.

Also, helping make Lae Nani so special is an ancient Hawaiian spiritual site (called a Heiau) which is located on the point, in front of the complex. The special nature of this location has been known to the local Hawaiians (Polynesians) for perhaps 1400 years and now we have the honor of being able to experience it and share it respectfully with our guests.
