Great to have a centrally located house to use while in town for six nights. The manager was responsive. Very nice kitchen appliances, comfortable sofa. Sweet old house, felt lived in. Lots of decor, hence the forced insurance which I’ve never encountered before. Owners seem to be far right based on signs and decor.

Only bathroom was on 2nd floor so lots of stair climbing which was not ideal for us. Water pressure in bathroom sink was almost non existent but shower was ok. Bed mattress was very high which made getting in the bed difficult for shorter people. Kitchen did not appear to have any heat in it but based on time of year this was a not a big problem. House did have a gas odor I assume from the fireplace which we never did use

The kitchen was very nice and had all the supplies needed to cook a gourmet meal. The beds were comfortable - the one was very high and challenging for shorter people. Space outside with multiple areas to relax, but the neighbors were outside smoking at night which made it unpleasant for a non-smoker to sit outside. The swim spa had a setup fee that I did not see mentioned in the ad. The area seemed a bit unkept - the cushions were not on the seats and it did not seem like it was swept. With such a high fee for cleaning, they could take more care inside - some dirt and a hair on refrigerator shelf, the freezer had freezer packs left behind with food stuck on them, the mop bucket and vacuum were left at bottom of steps in living room (had to move them to go upstairs). Communication was not great - had not gotten checking info at 5 hours before checkin and found out I never received a rental agreement that I needed to sign. Take out unnecessary personal items and eliminate security deposit. Too much "stuff" left behind in drawers and cabinets food, etc. Very little space to put the food and cooking items that I brought along.

We have addressed the housekeeping details you mentioned with our cleaning team, including making sure cleaning equipment is completely put away and outdoor areas are properly reset before each arrival. We’re also reviewing the kitchen storage so guests have adequate space for groceries and personal items. We apologize for the confusion surrounding the rental agreement and swim spa fee. The rental agreement is a requirement for the property, and we are reviewing our pre-arrival communication to make sure these requirements and any optional amenity fees are as clear as possible well before check-in. Unfortunately, we cannot control smoking or other activities taking place on neighboring private properties, but we certainly understand how that could have affected your enjoyment of the outdoor space. We appreciate the detailed feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve the experience for future guests.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in while traveling, and the entire house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed.The kitchen was a dream—fully equipped with everything you'd need to prepare a Michelin-worthy meal. We especially loved the ice maker, which came in handy throughout our stay. The outdoor space was another highlight, with plenty of comfortable seating, an amazing large jacuzzi, and every grilling accessory you could ask for. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.We also enjoyed the fun games provided in the house, which made for some great evenings together. During our visit, we spent the Fourth of July in the nearby small town and had a wonderful time watching the local fireworks before returning to the peaceful comfort of the house.Anita was an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly quick to answer any questions we had. Her communication made everything seamless from check-in to check-out.We truly couldn't have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return the next time we're in the area. Highly recommended!
