Great spot in the heart of it all.
Decently clean and reasonably quiet for the area it is in. Building has wonderful charm and pool area on roof offers great views and is a nice ammenity, albeit small. We felt very safe here and often left our balcony doors open at night for the breeze and sound of the ocean. Front door has a locking wrought iron gate so when open with balcony there is a nice breeze that comes through the unit - we did not use the AC at all. Enough kitchen supplies to prepare basic food (margaritas 😋), and a family grocer on the next block, so you could eat here comfortably. We didn't because there were millions of restaurants all around and we were only there 4 nights. Lots of fun things to do and places to see literally at your doorstep, and the artists responisble for many of the bronze statues on the Malecon live in the building AND have a great little gallery / bookshop / cafe downstairs. Downsides - It is a bit pricey, and there was a small charge made to our credit card after our stay that has still not been explained (3 months later), which is irritating to deal with.
